Teamwork Triumphs! Watch This to Believe - Palmetto Marriott First Dinner Success (Despite a Ballroom Surprise!) Hey everyone, get ready for a story that screams teamwork makes the dream work (and maybe a dash of miracle)! Last night, the Palmetto Marriott Resort & Spa hosted our first dinner, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience!✨ Now, here's the kicker: talk about a curveball! On the day of the event, at 11:00 AM, our ballroom – you know, the kind of crucial detail for a dinner – wasn't quite ready. Carpet? Still being rolled out! But here's the thing about this incredible team: we didn't panic. Instead, every department rallied together like a well-oiled machine (minus the oil stains, hopefully). The energy was electric, the problem-solving skills on point, and the dedication to our guests? Unwavering! The result? A flawless first dinner! Seriously, you have to SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT! (Check out the video I posted – trust me, it's worth it!) This event solidified something I already knew deep down – the Palmetto Marriott boasts the most incredible team I've ever worked with. Your dedication, positive vibes, and collaborative spirit are truly inspiring. Facing a hurdle head-on and emerging victorious together? That's the power of teamwork at its finest! Here's to many more successful events, unforgettable moments, and maybe even a few epic dance routines together in the future! (Though hopefully with a fully prepped ballroom next time ) P.S. Let me know in the comments what YOU find most inspiring about working in a collaborative team environment!Let's celebrate each other! #PalmettoMarriott #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork #FirstDinnerSuccess

Looking back at our journey at Siddall & Hilton, the past few years have been challenging but transformative in a positive way. We are a strong and purposeful company now. We’ve thought long and hard about WHY we do what we do. To pay the bills? Make money? That's important of course. But as we continue to navigate the post-pandemic world, aren't we all looking for more meaning than that? Ultimately we’re not going to find joy in that alone. We thought about it this way. Whatever we do, whatever activities we perform, we’re making an impact somewhere, on someone’s life, hopefully in a positive way. So we focused on that. It helped us define our purpose: “We Make It Safe”. What do we mean by that? Whether it’s craftmanship of safe, quality products, that keep our customers and your customers safe. Often our products are used to keep the bad guys out. Whether it’s leading with courage, to create an environment where our people feel psychologically safe. Or whether it’s zero compromise on health and safety standards within our workplace. “We Make It Safe” is the whole point behind what we do, guiding our decisions and shining brightly in everything we do, as one team.

What does "Unreasonable Hospitality" mean? → It's a concept of going over and beyond and providing intentional, exceptional customer service in any line of work. Will Guidara is someone from whom we can all learn this from. His new book "Unreasonable Hospitality" is a MUST read. I am honored to welcome him to E340 of #thePOZcast You will learn ↴ → Unreasonable hospitality is about managing expectations and exceeding them. → Hire the person, not the resume. Look for people with the right attitude and philosophy of hospitality. (in this context, I agree, but not in every case) → Make it cool to care by being passionate about your goals and infecting others with your passion. → Create a culture of camaraderie and connection among your team members. → Break the daily huddle into two parts: let your team eat and connect with each other before discussing work-related matters. → Building relationships and creating a sense of community in the workplace is crucial for employee satisfaction and retention. → Effective communication, including daily huddles, can foster trust and teamwork among employees. → Finding purpose in your work is essential for personal fulfillment and success. → Accountability and self-awareness are key to personal growth and learning from mistakes. → Empowering and supporting others can lead to extraordinary achievements. → Persistence, character, and being present are essential qualities for success in any endeavor. 👉🎥 WATCH: https://lnkd.in/eGP8_F47 👉🎧 LISTEN UP: Link in the comments 🔥 THIS IS #THEPOZCAST > GET INVOLVED 🔥

We don’t believe in 5 star service. I hear you going, "What? Why not? That's what everyone says!" Yes, but we don’t follow; we’re trailblazers. We don’t believe in it because: 1. We aren’t a hotel. 2. Hotels have metrics to achieve different star ratings. 3. In the workplace, we don’t have a metric that classes anyone as providing 5 star service. 4. In the workplace, when anyone says we deliver 5-star service, it’s all about perception. 5. It’s outdated for the corporate environment. 6. The world of work has changed, and we all know that. So, how we describe our guest service function needs to be different too. 7. We talk about “energy,” and we bring the energy to the workplace. What are your thoughts? #Trailblazers #WorkplaceEnergy #GuestService #InnovativeService #OnVerve

What does a typical evening look like for a CEO? After a whirlwind of meetings and decisions, we often find ourselves reflecting on the day’s events. ✨ Recently, we spent the evening planning for the future, mapping out our goals and strategies. As we brainstormed, we realized how far we’ve come and how much we’ve learned along the way. It’s essential to take a step back and evaluate our progress, ensuring we’re on the right path. 👁️ Every evening is a chance to regroup, recharge, and refocus. Here’s to the journey and the excitement that lies ahead! xoxo -Alexa and Isa #Hotel #Hospitality #CEO #Entrepeneur #LosAngeles #DigitalMarketing #MarketingStrategy #Friendship #AleBellaHospitality #AleBella

I’ve recently been exploring the concept of ‘hospitality,’ which we often associate with hotels and restaurants. But as executive assistants, many of us also manage offices and strive to bring that same level of hospitality to the daily employee experience—or to meetings and events. With employees returning to the office and in-person gatherings becoming more common, I’d love to hear how you’re elevating hospitality in your role. Have you refreshed your break room, given the office a facelift, or upgraded your meeting experiences? Let’s chat about it in the comments! 👇
