I loved hearing from David Pierce about how to succeed at Law Review and in the law. One of my favorite takeaways: “Whatever you do today, do it with the confidence of a 4 year old in a Batman t-shirt.” #lawreview #UDSL #lawstudent #lawschool
David Pierce, Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department, spoke to members of the University of Dayton Law Review during their annual orientation at the school recently. More than 50 students attended his talk, “How to Succeed at Law Review and In the Law.” The University of Dayton Law Review, founded in 1974, is a scholarly journal published three times annually by UD law students, and also features articles by judges, practitioners, and academics in important areas of law.

We love seeing discussions about the future of legal education! Preparing law students for the realities of hybrid law practice is essential as the profession continues to evolve. Great to see practical insights from Professor Amanda Sholtis, especially highlighting key strategies from "Medium Matters in Preparing for Law Practice: Critical e-Reading." #WidenerLawCW #WidenerLawCWLegalExpertise #LegalEducation #LegalPractice #EReading
Had an engaging discussion at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law about the need to prepare law students for hybrid law practice as lawyers increasingly split their time between in-person and remote work. It was an honor to join the Honorable LaQunya Baker and Dean Patty Roberts on a panel moderated by Professor Sara J. Berman. I provided practical suggestions for the legal educators in attendance from my article "Medium Matters in Preparing for Law Practice: Critical e-Reading," which will be published this spring in the Duquesne Law Review .
