AI did What ???? Maybe the Terminator era is closer than it appears ! Google AI’s Gemini, in collaboration with Alpha Proof and Alpha Geometry 2, clinched a silver medal at the International Math Olympiad! Yes, you read that right. An AI outshined hundreds of human geniuses. This isn't just a headline; it's a testament to the incredible strides AI is making. Alpha Proof focuses on proving mathematical theorems, while Alpha Geometry 2 specializes in geometric problem-solving. Together, they've created a mathematical powerhouse with Gemini. Think IIT JEE is tough? Try solving problems that stumped everyone but five humans. This achievement is a game-changer. What do you guys think!? #AI #MathOlympiad #GoogleAI #Gemini #AlphaProof #AlphaGeometry #FutureOfAI Google

🚀 The First AI Program: A Milestone in Technology 🤖 Did you know the journey of Artificial Intelligence started in 1956 with a program called Logic Theorist? Developed by Allen Newell, Herbert A. Simon, and Cliff Shaw, this pioneering software was designed to solve mathematical theorems, much like a human mathematician. Why Logic Theorist was Revolutionary: - It successfully proved 38 of the 52 theorems in "Principia Mathematica," a key text in mathematics. - It even discovered a more efficient proof for one of the theorems—an achievement that astonished researchers at the time. - The program introduced heuristic search, a problem-solving method still central to AI today. Legacy: Logic Theorist wasn’t just a program—it was the spark that ignited the AI revolution, demonstrating for the first time that machines could "think" and reason like humans. From proving theorems to now powering industries with generative AI and deep learning, we've come a long way. 🌟 💡 What’s your take? Are we still chasing the vision of AI pioneers, or have we surpassed it? Share your thoughts below! #ArtificialIntelligence #AIHistory #Innovation #Technology

Gödel's Incompleteness Theorem reveals that there will always be truths within any formal system that cannot be proven within that system. This idea challenges our limits and drives us to innovate. In coding, these mathematical principles translate into algorithms and systems capable of solving complex problems. The advent of artificial intelligence has further enhanced this capability, allowing us not only to perform tasks more efficiently but also to discover patterns and solutions that were previously unimaginable. The combination of Gödel's theorem, coding, and AI places us on the brink of a cognitive revolution. This triad invites us to imagine a future where the limits of human knowledge continuously expand, opening up possibilities we are only beginning to glimpse. #ai #interviewwithai #beyondlabels

The new university semester starts next week, and students will ask me about my stance on the use of Gen AI. I will show them this slide which encapsulates everything I feel as someone who teaches Gen AI to organisations and the public. Gen AI is great at many things, has unlocked many possibilities for the average person, and will change the stubborn ways of the working world. What remains valuable and untouchable is our human intent, effort, and our desire to master what we do. Man makes tools to help him do things better, and Gen AI is a tool that must help us, not eliminate us.
