Taken from a recent Lift Up. Rep just starting outbound after years on inbound. “Lucy’s input volume must increase but focus on finding efficiency first. Going from 0-1 you need healthy accounthit%, contacthit% and realreply% before you think about 1-2 and beyond. You can always add volume later - fair warning efficiency will almost certainly decline as you do. If you start with low efficiency - you’re left with nowhere to go” Yes you need input volume but when you’re really early it’s secondary to efficiency. It’s ok to go slow for first 100 active contacts. It’s called crawl, walk, run for a reason. Don’t scale suck as the great KD once said. #outbound #sdr #bdr #sales #prospecting
