We were pleased to participate in the "Baku ID 2024" Innovation Festival organized by SABAH.HUB. Baku ID(Baku Investment Day)is Azerbaijan's main startup innovation event, created by SABAH.HUB Innovation Center will drive the ecosystem forward. This year's 3rd edition of Baku ID was outstanding, drawing together over 5,000 enthusiastic participants, 40+ sponsors and partners, 300+ international guests, and 150+ innovative startups. It was indeed a convergence of brilliance and innovation in Baku's burgeoning startup ecosystem. Startups participating in the festival's competitions received a 1.7 million AZN investment fund. The event included speeches from global technology company representatives, diverse panel sessions, regional startup presentations, networking opportunities, and other engaging activities. According to Startup Genome research, the growth in Baku’s startup landscape has been remarkable, with its ecosystem value surging by over 40% between GSER 2022 and GSER 2024. This growth is underpinned by the country’s strategic initiatives to foster innovation and development in AI and other cutting-edge technologies. Initiatives such as establishing an AI Research Center and strategic R&D partnerships with global tech leaders like Microsoft and Huawei catalyze sectors such as tech, e-commerce & retail, FinTech, software & data, and hardware & IoT.
