When it comes to coding and marking your products, choosing the right technology is essential for achieving optimal results. At Packtronic, we understand that selecting between laser and other printing technologies can be a crucial decision. Let's delve into the key differences between these technologies to help you make an informed choice: 🔹 Laser Coding: Precision Permanent Laser coding involves using a high-powered laser beam to etch or mark information directly onto the surface of a product. This method is ideal for applications requiring permanent, high-contrast marks on a variety of materials, including glass, metal, plastic, and more. Laser coding offers unparalleled precision and permanence, making it suitable for industries where durability and longevity are paramount. 🔹 Other Printing Technologies: Versatility and Flexibility Printing applications, such as Continuous Inkjet, TIJ and thermal transfer printing, utilise ink or thermal ribbon to transfer information onto surfaces. These methods offer versatility and flexibility, allowing for high-speed printing on various substrates, including paper, cardboard, plastic, and more. Printing applications are ideal for dynamic production environments that require variable data printing, such as batch codes, expiration dates, and product identifiers. 🔹 Choosing the Right Technology When deciding between laser and other printing technologies, several factors come into play, including the type of material, required mark permanence, production speed, and budget considerations. Laser coding excels in applications requiring durable, permanent marks on hard-to-mark materials, while other printing technologies offer versatility and speed for variable data printing on a wide range of substrates. At Packtronic, we offer a comprehensive range of LASER, CIJ, TTO and TIJ printing solutions tailored to meet your specific coding and marking needs. Whether you need precision etching on glass bottles or high-speed printing on flexible packaging, we have the expertise and technology to deliver exceptional results. Let us help you choose the right solution for your application and elevate your product coding and marking to new heights! 💡🛠️ #LaserVsPrinting #CodingTechnology #PacktronicExpertise #Packtronic #LaserCoder #Innovation #Equipment

Discover the latest #PolyJet Inspiration Kit from Stratasys showcasing groundbreaking printing capabilities powered by GrabCAD Print Pro™. Features include: 👉 Print directly on tray — Allows printing onto materials such as glass or carbon fiber, creating a perfect surface finish on the underside of the part(s) and eliminating the need for post-processing on the underside. 👉 Air-as-Material — Allows using air instead of resin to significantly reduce the weight of parts, enabling up to 30% material savings. 👉 Smart Insert™ — Allows for the embedding of various functional/decorative elements directly into the print. 👉 Print-on-Object — Allows model customization and personalization with direct-to-object printing onto a wide variety of substrates. 👉 Voxel Print App — Tool for printing slice data defined by other software, allowing control over every detail of the model, including color, transparency, and shore hardness at the voxel level. 👉 Support-as-Material — Allows creating textured finishes on your designs by printing a dual glossy and matte surface. 👉 Liquid-as-Material — Allows creating hollow cavities such as microfluidic structures, hollow tubes, hydraulic parts, etc. 👉 High-Speed model — Maintains the same layer thickness but operates at twice the speed when using 2 materials. If you would like to experience this Inspiration Kit firsthand, contact AdvancedTek to arrange a demonstration. >> https://hubs.li/Q02Pdvt70

In which hardness (durometer) should I order a pad printing pad? When considering the optimal hardness (durometer) for a pad printing pad, it is recommended to consult with the print engineers at Printing International. However, having some knowledge of the process can be beneficial. Here are some key tips for choosing pad printing pad durometers: • Use hard pad printing pads for textured surfaces. You can also use them when you need to print an image in a lower-levelled area next to a raised surface. The pad will have to roll over the “step”. • Hard pad printing pads can be used in a pad “nest” or matrix, when you need to use one machine with many pads that are placed with small gaps between them e.g. when printing computer keyboards. • Softer pad printing pads are ideal when printing onto heavily contoured surfaces and fragile items. Read more about the hardness, shapes and sizes of our pad printing pads here: https://lnkd.in/d_qNqXe #printinginternational #padprinting #printing #consumables #pads #howtopadprint
