Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on various systems and applications. Perform WEB Application Penetration Testing and Network Penetration Testing. Seeking candidates with robust network security experience. Must Hold CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) and Cloud Security. Experience in Red Teaming exercises to simulate real-world cyber threats and test organizational defenses. Strong leadership and team management skills to lead and manage the day-to-day operation of security operations are essential. Oversee the detection, analysis, and response to security incidents. Develop and implement incident response plans, ensuring a swift and effective response to emerging threats. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate and remediate security incidents. Implement and manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems. Conduct continuous monitoring and analysis of security alerts and incidents. Stay ahead of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices. Develop, review, and enforce security policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Implement security awareness programs to educate employees about security policies. Evaluate and recommend security technologies to enhance the SOC capabilities. Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks. Prepare and present regular reports on security metrics, incidents, and trends. Hiring in security is hard! More so, when you are looking for specific skillsets - be it appsec, infrasec, threat intelligence, etc. Have you considered hiring a team of security generalists instead? It might work, might not work. Really depends on the organization as well as its priorities. But, would you rather lose that headcount just because you are not able to find a rockstar appsec engineer or get creative by hiring someone who can compliment the skills on the team and take the team along?
