Do you have certain times of the year where you take stock of where you've come from, and think purposefully about where you want to go? 
Whether it's your birthday, New Year's, a particularly high or low point, or as the seasons change, certain times of the year more than others serve as a great reminder that we have come from one place and are about to enter a new stage. It is at these transition points in life that it's useful to take stock of where we have come from and where we are headed - and perhaps most importantly, where we are right now.

As we kick off this new week, I want to share a thought that struck me while listening to Vusi Thembekwayo. He reminded me that many times, we don't reach our goals, not because we lack desire, but because we lack resilience and tenacity. We're often too focused on the outcome rather than the process that gets us there. Take a moment today to ask yourself: Why do I want to achieve my goals? What sacrifices am I willing to make? It's not the process that holds us back; it's our inability to make sacrifices and stay committed. Think about what you're giving and to whom. Who are you leaving better than you found them? Immerse yourself in the spaces you aspire to be in, even if you feel you don't deserve to be there yet. Visit those places. Surround yourself with people who inspire and challenge you. Once you embrace the process, the results will naturally follow. Let's make this week count by focusing on our journey and the small steps that lead to big achievements. You've got this!
