‘Melody hai chocolaty’ goes an old jingle from a famous marketing campaign of Parle Products Pvt. Ltd Why not tap into this new Indo-Italian connection, which happened first (in popular culture) with Indian Cinema (think: Sanjay L Bhansali’s 1998 film starring Aishwarya Rai) and later with umpteen marriages of celebrities like Vir-ushka to now Ambani’s magnum opus of a pre-wedding celebration that generates media wattage akin to those of film festivals in Venice (again, I refer Italy) Indian love of food has now brought pizzas home, as a mainstay of an adult Indian’s food habits and much more. There’s a new symphony in Indo-European relations which need a bridge first and this new Melodi (actually melody, not the confection I mentioned earlier either, the musical attribute really) needs to be strengthened and be taken further into the EU and India, in their modern avatars, not crippled by histories or hypocracies, in light of India’s G20 Presidency last year with too many member countries and a near comical G7 in Puglia with double entries from EU (functionally, eighth member but practically, a witness) in form of France, Germany and Italy (host nation in 2024) and also by UK in form of Canada; there’s a room for a middle way approach in re:grouping them, call it G12 (+1) which means a G13 (I meant, G12 with EU carrying on in the same role as it has in G7; one of observer state) where only single entries from G7(+EU) and more meritorious states from G20(+AU) are invited to deliberate on financial world of today to create a more liveable planet that this annual meeting’s participant representing the World Bank in Mr Banga is working on (unlike G7’s political undertones which stem from days of the “Great War” and G20’s claim of economic parity with advanced economies) There’s new rhyme in my brave new world, away from ‘horrors of the past’ or worries of ‘building a better tomorrow’, one is only too foolish to not listen!

Heartiest wishes to all my Indian brothers and sisters on the 78th Independence Day! India is truly in its Golden Era, a land of immense opportunities for this century. While much has been achieved, there is still a long way to go to reclaim the ancient glory that Bharat has always been known for. Bharat remains a young nation, brimming with energy and a strong will to achieve new milestones. Indians, both within the country and abroad, along with the global community, are looking at India, working with India, and becoming part of the success story that India has created and will continue to create in the coming 25 years. Today, no one wants to miss out on this success story. From the youth, farmers, women, and backward classes, everyone is given the highest priority to ensure they have access to opportunities. Those who are well-off aim to build their wealth and grow more prosperous through this growth agenda. India’s market capitalization has grown by almost 400 basis points of its GDP in the last couple of years. Nearly 20% of India’s market capitalization comes from foreign funds, reflecting the rising confidence in the ease of doing business. India is already a leader in software services, banking, infrastructure, transportation, green energy, and agriculture. The country is now working in mission mode to revolutionize sectors like education, healthcare, semiconductor chips, space, and defense. Efforts are also underway to upgrade the outdated judiciary, further improving the ease of doing business. I invite people from all around the world to be part of the wealth that will be created in India in the coming 25 years. India remains the fastest-growing economy, with its stock markets open to all investors in various forms and shapes. Today, the Indian stock market sees thousands of profit-making companies listing themselves, offering investors ample opportunities to build wealth in times of global uncertainty and crisis. It’s a game of patience—invest in India for the long term and watch your wealth multiply. Reach out to your investment advisors. We have all seen how retail investors have been at the forefront of the last 12 months’ bull run. When you dig deeper, you see the resources in terms of skills, savings, and a committed approach that India is navigating its path through. Once again I wish heartiest wishes on this Independence Day and encourage to resolve to give your best shot in whatever we do to keep the momentum on.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "I speak a lot about the leaders of Iran. Yet at this pivotal moment, I want to address you – the people of Iran. I want to do so directly, without filters, without middlemen. Every day, you see a regime that subjugates you, make fiery speeches about defending Lebanon, defending Gaza. Yet every day, that regime plunges our region deeper into darkness and deeper into war. Every day, their puppets are eliminated. Ask Mohammed Deif. Ask Nasrallah. There is nowhere in the Middle East Israel cannot reach. There is nowhere we will not go to protect our people and protect our country. With every passing moment, the regime is bringing you — the noble Persian people — closer to the abyss. The vast majority of Iranians know their regime doesn't care a whit about them. If it did care, if it cared about you, it would stop wasting billions of dollars on futile wars across the Middle East. It would start improving your lives. Imagine if all the vast money the regime wasted on nuclear weapons and foreign wars were invested in your children’s education, in improving your health care, in building your nation's infrastructure, water, sewage, all the other things that you need. Imagine that. But you know one simple thing – Iran’s tyrants don’t care about your future. But you do. When Iran is finally free and that moment will come a lot sooner than people think – everything will be different. Our two ancient peoples, the Jewish people and the Persian people, will finally be at peace. Our two countries, Israel and Iran, will be at peace. When that day comes, the terror network that the regime built in five continents will be bankrupt, dismantled. Iran will thrive as never before. Global investment. Massive tourism. Brilliant technological innovation based on the tremendous talents that exists inside Iran. Doesn’t that sound better than endless poverty, repression and war? From Qom to Esfahan, from Shiraz to Tabriz, there are tens of millions of good and decent people with thousands of years of history behind them and a brilliant future ahead of them. Don't let a small group of fanatic theocrats crush your hopes and your dreams. You deserve better. Your children deserve better. The entire world deserves better. I know you don’t support the rapists and murderers of Hamas and Hezbollah, but your leaders do. You deserve more. The people of Iran should know – Israel stands with you. May we together know a future of prosperity and peace". https://lnkd.in/eq2pFHQG
