Business Talk #13 | Tenova During our very last Business Talk of the year, we were thrilled to host Eduardo Baldeon, Sales and Proposal Manager for Cold Rolling Division and Rachele Franci, HR Business Partner Tenova. Eduardo, an MIB alumnus, offered a bird’s-eye view of Tenova and its parent company, Techint Group. He plunged the class into the complex sales process of this leading company in the metals industry, specializing in engineering-to-order solutions for complex and highly automated plants from client acquisition to contract negotiation. Using a PESTEL analysis, he engaged the class in a thought-provoking discussion, encouraging them to think critically and creatively. Eduardo also shed light on the intricacies of commercial and technical proposals, highlighting the importance of a well-defined framework.  Additionally, he introduced the class to the art of negotiation. Rachele Franci offered insights into Tenova hiring practices and company culture. She discussed the desired candidate profile, emphasizing the importance of soft skills and continuous learning. Both speakers emphasized the significance of networking, relationship-building, and ongoing professional development. Students were excited to learn about the opportunities at Tenova and the success stories of fellow MIBers who had secured positions in the company.
