Closing deals before year-end? Time is ticking! Be honest with your customers about timelines. If a deal is in process by early November, it will likely close before January. Remember, the holiday season brings its challenges. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and even Kwanzaa (for some!) can slow things down. Ultimately, it's about the customer's will. You can only force people to pick up the phone during the holidays. Sterling Birdsong Christopher Hackney Emily Detor Alan Peterson #BusinessTips #HolidaySeason #CustomerService

Bonfire Night is all about enjoying fireworks, friends, and fun! To make sure the night stays safe and memorable, keep these tips in mind: 🔥Know Your Limits: Alcohol can impact your awareness and reactions. Pace yourself and stay mindful of how much you’re drinking. 🔥Stick Together: If you're with friends, keep an eye on each other. Having a buddy system ensures everyone’s safe and can enjoy the night together. 🔥Say No to Mixing: Mixing alcohol with drugs or other substances can increase risks. It’s safest to avoid combinations that might cloud your judgment or lead to harmful choices particularly around fireworks and flames. 🔥Get Home Safely: Plan your route home in advance, and have a designated driver or public transport option ready. 🔥Make this Bonfire Night a night to remember—for all the right reasons. 🔥

I've got a complaint - in fact I've got two.... How companies deal well with unhappy customers is clearly a dying art. Putting something right that was wrong can actually create more goodwill than if everything had gone right in the first place. But also dealing with things swiftly is essential otherwise unhappiness festers. Here are a couple of examples from my own recent experiences. Firstly let's do Aer Lingus who told me I couldn't change my flight but then I later found that there was a flight when I wanted and they essentially fibbed. "This case is currently being reviewed and we will reach back to you for an update. Please bear with us as we are currently receiving a large volume of correspondence". Now the turn of St. James’s Place who messed around with my confidentiality. "We have unfortunately been receiving increased numbers of complaints which has significantly impacted the length of time to respond to clients." The learnings here for me were that if your team handling complaints is pushing back because they have too many complaints to deal with, then there might be an issue further up the supply chain and the failure to be able to resolve them efficiently isn't going to make life any better!! I hope I'm alone, but I suspect not.... #customerservice #bangheadonwall

The night before Thanksgiving—also known as 'Blackout Wednesday'—is the biggest bar night of the year. With friends and family back in town, it’s tempting to indulge in a few extra drinks. But here’s a sobering fact: this night also sees a sharp increase in DUIs and alcohol-related accidents. ✅ Plan Ahead: Designate a driver or arrange for a ride-share. ✅ Look Out for Others: If someone seems too tipsy to drive, step in. ✅ Stay Alert: Even as a pedestrian, be cautious on the roads. Let’s make sure everyone gets to enjoy their turkey and stuffing tomorrow. Stay safe, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you or someone you know needs legal help. #ThanksgivingEve #StaySafe #DrinkResponsibly #PersonalInjuryAttorney #LegalHelp
