“I would rather say I was unemployed for 2 years than saying I worked at Byju’s”
Recently, a 30 year old reached out to me for mentorship.
I noticed a 2 year break in his resume and on pushing further he said he was working at Byju’s during that period.
But telling potential recruiters he was working at Byju’s meant they would just reject his application.
As companies would think he has poor ethics and probably bad skills.
This is an interesting question on how much an employer’s image comes onto your individual profile.
My personal take is you become a product of the environments you work in. So if you spend a lot of time in toxic environments, you become that after some time even if you don’t want to. And the other way around.
As a result, you should choose your work environments carefully!
Not just for external signaling but for internal growth.

I’ve noticed some comments lately suggesting that Square Yards is becoming the new BYJU'S’s. What’s the issue here?
I don’t understand why some are troubled by Byju’s employees joining Square Yards. There’s nothing wrong with it! Sales is all about adaptability and skill. If you’re a good salesperson, you can sell anything, anywhere!
Do we really expect Byju’s employees to stay put and not explore new opportunities? Career transitions are a natural part of professional growth.

I am writing to bring to your attention a highly concerning issue regarding Order No. 440780256159 placed on your website. Despite the logistic team marking the order as delivered, I have yet to receive the product.
This discrepancy has caused significant inconvenience and frustration. As a loyal customer, I rely on your company's services for timely and accurate deliveries. However, the failure to receive the ordered product, despite the tracking status indicating delivery, reflects poorly on your company's reliability and service standards.
I urge you to investigate this matter promptly and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. I expect a swift resolution, including either the immediate delivery of the product or a full refund of the purchase amount.
Furthermore, I request that measures be implemented to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. Customers should be able to trust the accuracy of delivery statuses provided by your logistic team.
I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. Failure to address this issue satisfactorily will compel me to escalate my complaint through relevant consumer protection channels.

Last week I completed 4 years at Meesho. Summarising my top 3 learnings:
1. Think 10X Think Long Term: Building something valuable for users in a way that it solves for the core problem/ need at a fundamental level, is the secret sauce to building products that continue to create 10X impact in then long run
2. People matter the most: Working with truly driven, smart, humble and mission aligned people is probably the best way to learn and grow fast; getting those perspectives challenges my thinking and pushed me to think deeper and better
3. P0 is fun: Learning and growing fast would not be fulfilling enough unless you enjoy the process of how you are learning. Think. Collaborate. Build. Learn. Have Fun. Repeat.
Grateful to my mentors and peers who have been my circle of support throughout.
