Well said Honorable. Doug Ford - Premier of Ontario 👏. The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is an important Day in Canada 🇨🇦. It is highly important to invest largely in supporting First Nations Communities in Canada by providing more affordable housing 🏠🏢 , safe drinking water 🚰 💦 , modern infrastructure in the First Nations Reserves, well paying jobs, modern schools & colleges 🏫 📚 , good hospitals & health care centres 🏥 🚑 , on the job training programs & courses, skilled trades training programs etc. Supporting First Nations Communities in Canada must be the top priority of the Federal Government of Canada and Provincial Governments in Canada. We have to invest largely in our First Nations Communities in Canada in order to provide them with better quality of life, health care services, education, employment opportunities, affordable housing, safe drinking water, modern infrastructure in the First Nations Reserves all across Canada etc.

We are happy for the decision that was made by the Ministry of Education to extend the school opening day to 6th May because of the ongoing Heavy rains that have affected so many Kenyans and brought huge losses to the majority of Kenyans. Two years back, a communal war broke out between Ezza and Effium in Ebonyi State; this made people abandon their ancestral homes because of the numerous killings. People lost loved ones, farmlands and properties. This war made people scamper for safety in unfamiliar zones; some who had nowhere to go slept under bridges. Till date their land is currently desolate. As a result of the war, the number of out of school children in Ebonyi state has skyrocketed and we desire to assist in reinstating some of them to back school but cannot do this by ourselves. We had thought to enroll eight(8) children but the number still left is scary. It is our desire to see that more children go to school, but this only can be achieved by your support and partnership. To enroll a child in a basic government primary school costs Thirty thousand naira (N30,000), which covers for tuition, school bag, sandals, books and basic texts books. We desire you to be part of the hands that will help us put smiles on these faces again. We are counting on your benevolence. SOWELA’s Fall 2024 enrollment bucked a downward national trend & experienced an increase in enrollment of 8.44% year-over-year. Nationally, according to The Chronicle of Higher Education, enrollment at community colleges has declined by nearly 12 percent since 2019 & at four-year public colleges by more than 3 percent.
