What is Swarming? It is a behaviour demonstrated by independent entities to collaborate for one or more missions This ant colony beautifully exhibits this phenomena. This behaviour can be exhibited by multiple entities that can even be heterogeneous. There are various use cases of swarming in performing collaborative work. There is a need for a system that builds intelligence on top of various machines. Rebhu Computing is building systems vital to have robots work alongside humans. Visual Navigation and Swarming are two vital technologies to achieve singularity in robotics.

Wait to be really surprised here! The idea of detachable and independent limbs is something we humans can’t fully grasp (yet), but robots are totally nailing it. This could really open up new possibilities for #HRI and boost what #robots can do. At #ICRA40 in Rotterdam this week, we saw something super cool: a robotic hand that can detach from its arm and crawl around to grab objects that are usually out of reach, designed by the folks at EPFL and MIT. PRIMER-V2 had special joints and a gyroscope for balance, allowing it to mimic our pedalling and steering movements It even used tiny robotic feet to brake! Nadia also demonstrates robustness to failed grasps and door opening attempts by automatically retrying and continuing.
