Ever wonder why you’re more likely to grab a healthy snack when it’s at eye level or why you stick with the default option on a subscription plan? This is the power of Behavioral Economics at work through choice design. The way options are presented—whether it’s the layout of a menu, the order of search results, or even the wording on a form—can influence our decisions in subtle yet profound ways. This concept, often referred to as ‘choice architecture,’ doesn’t take away your freedom to choose but nudges you toward certain behaviors by making some options easier, more visible, or more appealing. From encouraging healthier habits to boosting savings rates, thoughtful choice design proves that small tweaks can have a big impact. So next time you make a decision, ask yourself: was this really my choice, or was I guided there?

When we did our first million dollar launch of the year, we got this feedback over and over again from our new clients “We’re buying from you because you’re speaking the TRUTH.” They weren’t buying because our program promised quick overnight results. They were buying for our wisdom, expertise, and HONESTY. When other business gurus were preaching how easy it can be, how you can make a million dollars with little effort or working hours … …we were being real about what it’s going to take to succeed in this market. In a time where consumers are completely defaulting to skepticism and trust is at an ALL TIME LOW across industries… …the more that you speak the truth, the more your market is going to take you seriously and the more that you're going to stand out because no one else.

"The market share of our product is going down." "Why?" "Because people are not buying it." "Why?" "They don't seem to like the product." "Why?" "It's not solving the problem the way we intended." "Why?" "I don't know, let's find out." You need to get to the most fundamental depth of an issue - maybe till the point where you're only left with the laws of science and nature. This is called First Principles thinking. The opposite of this is a child who asks her parent "Why do I need to brush my teeth at night?" and the parent snaps back, "Because I said so." One of the fastest highways to make progress, especially in the professional world, is to question the mandates. You need to see everything just as a recommendation or a rule that can be broken. Products, processes, systems will never improve if we don't add, edit, and omit things. And in this process, "This is how things happen here," or "We won't get permission for this" cannot be valid answers. Why? Who decides that? What can be done to change this pattern? To solve any issue, get to the heart of it - be willing to go on ground, ask questions, learn from them, and then apply and discard accordingly.
