This is how Uzakitu started, I don't think they knew I was recording. The gentlemen in this video juggle full time gigs while still also building the shopify for the Kenyan/African MSME (Manufacturing, wholesalers and retailers). Uzakitu has not only been a way to sharpen our skills in the different areas that we specialize in but also a gate way to even better jobs and gigs. Having a good product out there looks good on your resume (This is to the devs and designers, build it and it put it out there, nobody really cares except those who do in the way that matters). At first it was they build, I design, market and sell. But it didn't take long before it was I design, they build WE market and sell the 🔥 out of this product. It's not easy in the current economic situation in Kenya, business are still very cautious with their spending, but we give every client small or big VIP experience. We are placing ourselves at the intersection of social commerce and e-commerce, we handle a bit of both. Why? Because it will always be easier to convert a Kenyan customer who can browse the www if you have a product catalogue online, ours is even better, it comes with end to end full e-commerce capabilities.
