Why is having a payment button important on a landing page? It tests whether clients see value in your product and are willing to pay for it. Also in this video, there’s a Back button on the checkout page. Typically, the user would be brought to a Pricing page if they exited the checkout session, however, there’s no Pricing page. Where will the user go if they click the Back button? The pricing section via an anchor tag to help preserve context. Wondering what's on that board? It’s from my first chat with Ankur Saxena (former Head of Technology & Growth, Blinkit). What started as a simple conversation turned into a 2-hour eye-opening masterclass on consumer insights. Ankur shared his playbook from Blinkit's early days, revealing how they became the 10-minute e-commerce powerhouse they are today. It was clear right then - I had to get Ankur to host a workshop for Before Day Zero members. The focus? Decoding consumer insights to generate 10x product ideas. Many founders in the critical -1 to 0 phase struggle with this. They often miss the crucial step of translating consumer insights into viable ideas - a key piece of the puzzle for achieving product-market fit. If you're in the -1 to 0 phase of building, you won't want to miss this. This board is just 0.1% of the valuable insights Ankur will share in the upcoming workshop. Deets: 22nd Aug, 4-6:30 PM IST, online. Link to RSVP is in the comments. Limited spots available.

As a brand, every decision made- every rupee, every minute invested- needs to deliver exponential results. "What if I build something nobody wants?" 🤔 Ah, the founder’s nightmare—a product so perfect in your head but gathers dust on the appstore's digital shelf. 😫 It’s like throwing a party and no one shows up, except your mom, and even she’s like, “I’m just here for the snacks, sweetie.” 😭 Here’s the hard truth: the market doesn’t care about your brilliant idea unless it solves their problem, or provides an alternative that is significantly better, faster, or cheaper than their status quo. 😎 So, before you spend nights coding, designing, and obsessing, remember—no one needs another app that tracks their dog’s mood based on the phase of the moon. 😱 Get out there, talk to real people, and find out what's likely to make them want to RSVP to your party. If you are making a B2B product 5-9 conversations are enough, if you are making a B2C product you need about 15-20. 😇 You will be surprised how many founders skip this simple first step and jump straight into building their product. 😳 Image made with Dall-e #startupnightmere #pmf #productdiscovery Nonlinear

Why are call to action buttons important? When a client lands on your site, they’re one click away from converting. It’s important to focus on how these buttons direct your user to the one action you want them to take. You could lead the user astray or lead them on your story and path to help increase their bottom line. Why is launching a product so scary? I felt this firsthand when launching my product and it didn’t even land. Now I’ve built a couple and I’m still figuring out product-market fit. What can save time though is pre-built user flows where you only need to plug in product information and how users can access your product. Does this sound like a solution you could use? If so, comment “LaunchTime” so you’ll be the first to try my solution. Follow me, Courtney Ngai, as I #buildinpublic 💻 #launchtime #apphia #techfounder
