“A helping hand” can have different meanings. We reach out to offer support with our hands. 🤝 We comfort someone by holding their hand. And at other times, we roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty to help others get things done. Over nearly four-and-a-half decades, we’ve aimed to be the “helping hand” to those in need by supporting more than 10,000 charitable projects, whilst distributing more than HK$2.6 billion in grants to help address #community needs. These philanthropic efforts solidify our deep commitment 💪 to the welfare of the city we call home, and our determination to continue our work lending a helping hand to the community. https://lnkd.in/gJWGdujh #HSBC #HBF

We all need an extra hand sometimes, so here is an ode to hands. Hands are the human touch. They can show determination to protect what we have today whilst planting the seeds for tomorrow. The hands that give, and guide, help save lives, and the ones that are there when we need them the most. The ones that can comfort in lonelier times and guide you on every step of the way, lead as an example and provide the essentials to those in need. So here is a celebration of the wrinkly hands, the smooth hands and even the mucky ones. But above all, the helping hands that are here for the Hong Kong community.

Lovely that you do this. Your UK arm could bring some charity home by actually being fair to their own staff pensioners. In particular their ex Midland Bank pensioners, given below inflation pension increases for 4 years and suffering clawback deductions, that were not clearly communicated to them in the 1970's and 1980's.
