That’s why I’m so inspired by initiatives like Start With Hello, a no-cost program from Sandy Hook Promise that teaches students how to recognize social isolation and take steps to create more inclusive, connected school communities. With activities and curricula for all ages, Start With Hello empowers kids to build bridges in three simple steps: 1️⃣ See someone alone. 2️⃣ Reach out and say hello. 3️⃣ Help connect them to others. It’s a small action, but it has a ripple effect—helping children feel seen, valued, and supported in ways that could transform their lives. This resonates deeply with my own work at Knock Knock United.
