Alignment between Recruiters and Hiring Managers is essential for high-potential hiring and high-quality recruitment and talent acquisition. Listen to the incredible conversation between Torin Ellis, Jim Stroud, Carrie Collier, and Mike Chuidian on The Boolean AND Brews Podcast on clearly defining expectations and reframing high-potential candidates. Recruiters know talent when we hear it, and the resume is only half the story. What recruiters uncover during screening calls (soft skills, motivations, determination, potential) are equally as important as what's on #resumes. How recruiters frame these benefits vs skills gaps with hiring managers can make the difference between high-potential hiring, or not. #hiring #talentacquistion #DEIB

Contingent or Retained? 🔍 Why does Retained Search Outshines Contingent Recruitment? In the competitive landscape of talent acquisition, opting for a retained search can be a game-changer for your recruitment strategy. Here's why: 1. 🔍 Dedicated Focus: Retained search firms invest more time and resources, ensuring a thorough and targeted approach to finding top talent. 2. 🔍 Higher Quality Candidates: With a commitment to delivering the best, retained search firms often present candidates who are not just available, but ideally suited for your needs. 3. 🔍 Enhanced Partnership: This model fosters a deeper partnership between you and the recruiter, aligning closely with your company's goals and culture. For strategic hires that truly drive your business forward, a retained search provides the focus and expertise you need. Still not convinced? Take a listen to the Jordan Taylor podcast, "Retrained Search - The podcast" It has really helped me understand the importance of retained and how in a competitive job market like the GCC, having upfront or pre agreed pricing plan can really change your mentality when recruiting for your clients. I just met with a really impressive recruitment leader, who will be coming on the podcast next week! My biggest takeaway from our first chat 👇🏽 "Too many recruiters are focused solely on doing the deal. They completely forget about the fundamentals and the overall process." It got me thinking... How many recruiters had an unreal first year post covid from simply mass speccing out profiles? Working 101 sh*tty jobs and just spamming profiles to clients. When the market gets a little more difficult, you can't rely on just mass speccing anymore and hoping the deal goes through. If the business doesn't have a winning formula for getting new business and increasing offer to placement ratios, you're going to LOSE! What do you think?
