#𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬 - 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 Hi, CivicChats, I'm continuing my theme of talking about community. I thought I'd cover a couple of things that have come up this week. Furthermore, I've been questioned about, well, Bruce, you know, you talk about community, and then you won't do other things. And what's interesting is those other things are that people are asking me for help and, are not willing to do the work in any way to get that help. So, a community is not a free handout or as I sometimes call it on LinkedIn. It's not a magnificent shopping mall where you can just ask people for stuff or make offers or just basically only look after what you want. For me, the community is about mutual respect. It's the mutual trust, and it's the mutual time it takes to understand what our needs are. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞, 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. If you really want to make a difference, stop screwing around. Do these 5 things: 1. Choose community over isolation 2. Choose giving over taking 3. Choose local events over staying home 4. Choose supporting over ignoring 5. Choose engagement over apathy. Success isn’t a destination. It’s a daily habit. #gr8labor #ColumbusMovers, #MovingCompanyColumbus, #ColumbusOhioMovers, #CBusMoving, #ColumbusRelocation, #ColumbusMovingServices, #LocalMoversColumbus, #ColumbusMovingCompany, #614Movers, #OhioMovingExperts

Imagine opening your phone to find a heartfelt message from someone whose journey you've been a part of, someone from the transgender community who had been struggling with employment due to systemic biases. In the message, they express gratitude for the opportunity to work at a respected MNC—a company where they now feel valued, respected, and included. The words they share are not just about the job itself, but about the dignity and sense of self-worth that comes from finally being recognized for their skills and potential, rather than their gender identity. They might mention how for the first time in their career, they feel confident about their future, knowing that they are in an environment that truly embraces diversity and inclusion. Reading this, you're filled with a deep sense of fulfillment, knowing that your efforts are making tangible, life-changing impacts. It's a reminder that the work you're doing—whether through Kineer, Capable or our other initiatives—is not just about business or policy, but about changing lives. You reflect on the challenges they have overcome and the courage it took for them to continue their journey despite the barriers. You might even take a moment to celebrate quietly, recognizing that this success is not just theirs alone but a collective victory for the broader movement toward inclusivity and equity. Their message strengthens your resolve to continue this important work, knowing that each placement, each opportunity, is one step closer to a world where everyone, regardless of gender, has equal access to dignity, respect, and professional growth. Moments like these are fuel for the passion you pour into your work, affirming that your dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion is creating ripples of positive change. www.kineerblessed.com
