Ally Behavior Centers shared a great strategy at the university career fair: Instead of applying to countless jobs randomly, focus on companies you genuinely want to work for. By connecting with alumni on LinkedIn and your university’s alumni portal, you can learn more about the company culture and the role you're interested in. These connections can help you get in touch with hiring managers, giving your resume a better chance of being reviewed by decision-makers, rather than just being filtered through an online portal.

The job fair is 1 week away, sign up today! This is not your ordinary job fair! • We will provide and set up your table and chairs. • We will provide coffee, water & lunch. • Please bring a tablecloth, any table decorations/marketing materials, and applications. • Wi-fi will be available, but please bring your own electronics and extension cords. About the culture at Better Together job fairs: • Culture of Celebration - We will celebrate every person and every opportunity which they find at the job fair. Make a big deal out of interviews, job offers, and other meaningful interactions. We also want to celebrate them and the employers! • Opportunity Bell - One of the most obvious ways we celebrate. If you extend an on-the-spot job offer, please come up to the bell with your new employee to ring it together so we can all stop, clap, cheer, and celebrate with you. • Job Coaches - Volunteers will be working with and encouraging job seekers throughout the day. If you are looking for something specific or not having a lot of luck, flag down a coach so they can be on the lookout for exactly what you need. Their job is to make matches and get job seekers ready to meet you, so help them do their jobs better by interacting with them. • What is your one more step? - We love it when people receive information about open positions and how to apply - that’s fantastic. But, we would love to challenge you to take one more step than you have taken before at job fairs and try interviewing on the spot, conducting screening steps before they’ve left the building, inviting job seekers for appointments or interviews at specific set times at your facility, or even offering on the spot jobs. We will provide a private room for your on the spot interviews to be held. Message me today if you have any questions or would like additional information!

WOW..WOW...WOW... For the third time in a row, Interswitch Group has consistently ensured the gathering of incredible professionals who have once again ignited my passion at the just concluded Interswitch Career Fair 3.0. The inspiring words shared during this edition have sparked a firm resolve within me to stand out and make a real difference. Here are some of the key takeaways that resonated with me: · Soft life comes after hard work. · Conduct performance appraisals on your life regularly. · Do not let money be the only driving factor in your career, have multiple sources of income so that you won't be dependent on money alone. · We are in the skills market, not the job market. So, invest in skills. · Sometimes it is better you are out of a job, so you can have a clear head. · You are a product of your decision, if you do not like where you are then change your decision. · Aim to have a skill that is global, skills that will be relevant in the next 10 years. · Resilience is not about not falling when the wind has blown, it is about bouncing back. · There is pain and endurance in creating meaningful work accept that fact. · In the beginning, prioritize learning over earning. · Where we are headed is most definitely a function of the image in our head of what we want to become. · It is okay to transition as many times as you want, we are human 'beings' we are supposed to evolve and not remain stagnant. · There are seasons in life, a time to learn and earn. Understand the season where you are and give yourself grace. Thank you, Interswitch Group for, for this invaluable experience. I eagerly await the next chapter "Interswitch Career Fair 4.0"
