#Students and #RecentGrads: Big changes to the federal government's #PathwaysPrograms take effect today to boost opportunities for early career talent such as you! Here are some of the highlights: -Agencies can now hire #RecentGraduates at a GS-11 starting salary instead of being limited to a GS-09 starting salary, affording enhanced flexibility to applicants and agencies. -Applicant eligibility for the Recent Graduates program has expanded to include individuals who may or may not have college degrees, but who have completed qualifying career or technical education programs, including Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Job Corps, and Registered Apprenticeships. -Agencies can now convert #interns to a permanent federal position after they complete a minimum of 480 hours in their internship, instead of 640 hours. Check out the complete list of changes, with which federal agencies must be in full compliance no later than December 9, 2024: https://lnkd.in/ekdbrfD8
As a recent grad an went through a Goverment pathways program but didn't get perment placement . Am i eligible to go through another pathways in hopes of getting permanent placement ?
HHS Careers How about considering a program for displaced and experienced (a.k.a. “seasoned”, “old”, “mature”, etc.) workers? I’ve spent my entire career in healthcare with solid experience and keep getting passed over for any government roles I apply for. No pathway for individuals like me, at risk for being faced with ageism. P.s. it is “take effect today”, not “take affect today” in your post.
I want to apply to be the apprentice of the DHHS Secretary. I welcome a role in which I can learn and develop the complex skills to oversee functional operations of DHHS.

Hi, to whom ever will address this question. I am a 57yr old sole proprietor who has worked jobs and earned a B.A. over the last 30 years. Now I'm looking to switch gears, my sons are handling the family business and I'd like to land a government job. My question, how realistic will it be at my age?
I'm interested. I'm from American Samoa and still seeking employment available in my preferred location.
I applied for a position today with you guys and came back to LinkedIn a few hours later to see that someone had been doing a search on me, and. I hope I get the chance to speak to one of your recruiters or personnel of management. Thank you!
Emily Schelle-Miller I know we haven't chatted in a bit but given your work I also thought this might be of interest to you and your work in recruiting.
