Now, we've come back to the crackdown on women's rights in Afghanistan several times over the past year. It's certainly an issue close to my heart. And each time we do, the list of banned activities is even longer. Have a listen to this. Women aren't allowed to move in public spaces unless they are in the company of a male relative. Girls are banned from attending secondary school and university. Around one in three girls in Afghanistan is forced into marriage before their 18th birthday, often to avoid poverty. Women are banned from praying aloud in front of other women, and now women have reportedly been suspended from midwife and nurse training.
