In my real job outside of YouTube, we really deep dive into measuring success. Now our perspective is from an Information Operations Planner supporting military operations but…the concept remains the same. Whether you are assessing a marketing campaign, conducting sentiment analysis, or measuring the outcome of a Commander’s Endstate - same same. The VA is reporting a 91% approval rating from Veterans. This is solid. This also makes me start to question. Sentiment analysis can be easily skewed. Anywho, food for thought. Way to go, VA. Keep it up. For more: https://lnkd.in/eTik9kjU

You say you do great prehospital medicine....but how do you know? There is something very special about having a strong data set as the foundation for making changes to the way an industry operates. Sometimes change happens because we see someone else lead the way in pioneering a new medication or treatment or there is literature that suggests the best practice has shifted (#saynotopastawater); sometimes we change because we're mandated to. Regardless, it's great to be part of an organization working to make the data that supports that change accessible so that prehospital medicine can continue to stay up to date as a critically valuable part of the healthcare system. One of the key initiatives launched in 2024 was the initial rollout of the Military Health System (MHS) Common Data Model (CDM). For analysts leveraging MHS data or researchers conducting longitudinal studies, the MHS CDM will be the new way to accomplish this work, as it provides standardized data for consistency and replicable analysis across different data sources. While 2024 marked the beginning of this journey, 2025 will focus on expanding and driving the adoption of the MHS CDM across different domains and use cases. See https://lnkd.in/eTdv_-gF for more information. #MHS #MHSCDM #CDM #OHDSI #OMOP
Did you know the Military Health System Common Data Model 1.0 is now live? The MHS CDM 1.0 is a data standard, designed to standardize the structure and content of observational data and to enable efficient analyses that can produce reliable evidence. The first release of the CDM includes standardized data for more than 12.7M patients, 839M clinical encounters, and 1.6B clinical diagnosis. It enables better interoperability, more accurate research, and standardized analysis and reporting across the MHS. Want to learn more? https://lnkd.in/ebZBYWrM
