Thank you for bringing this important topic to our attention. Women's health conditions are not just "bikini issues." Usually it's thought that heart disease is the #1 killer in women around the world. However, it's actually female homicide. "One woman or girl is killed every 10 minutes by their intimate partner or family member"--please see https://www.unwomen.org/en/news-stories/press-release/2024/11/one-woman-or-girl-is-killed-every-10-minutes-by-their-intimate-partner-or-family-member

To further highlight the issue on women health disparities w/r/t women maternal healthcare …see link to article where there is an inflection point of decreasing availability of OB-GYN doctors…aging out of current providers ( 5000 less by 2030 ) and legislative restrictions in the US . All this increas barriers to access maternal healthcare resulting in poor outcomes and women able to participate in the workforce: https://thehill.com/changing-america/well-being/4590535-the-united-states-is-experiencing-a-growing-ob-gyn-shortage-heres-why/

I did a women's health study for the US Public Health Service in the early 1980s. We identified the problem of women not being in clinical studies then. Believe it or not, I could not get even four women who wanted to work on a solution for that. I'm so glad this is finally happening. Anyone who wants that report can be in touch. It would be interesting to compare what we did then with what's happening now.
