Brand new MBN Solutions clients got in touch with us on the 8th March. They had over 700 applications for this Machine Learning Engineer Position in London. Across 4 data & technology positions they had close to 3,000 applications - The company is a Fintech Start-up with a fairly small talent team (none of them have a lot of experience in the ML / Data Science Market) the position had been live for a number of months and was taking so much time / energy to find the right person. ——- They contacted MBN Solutions on the 8th March, we submitted 3 CV’s that week. I’ve posted recently about the transformative potential of artificial intelligence on the financial services industry and some of the ways we’re embedding AI at BlackRock, including our recent launch of the Aladdin CoPilot. Today, I want to take a different tack and share some of my firsthand experience with how AI is evolving the landscape for technical talent. My take?
