For example, how do you ensure optimum structure- and footfall sound insulation in a 65 metre high timber hybrid building? 🚧 The challenge: wooden ceilings have a lower mass than concrete ceilings and are susceptible to vibrations - which leads to poorer sound values. An innovative solution was needed to ensure living comfort on the 25 cm thick ceilings. 💡 The solution: the development of a new installation method and our revolutionary Prefab Floor 2K special binder. Using a special hose system, the material was pumped up precisely and applied in just one application step. This process made it possible to insulate 640 m² per floor in just two days - a real time-saver! 👷♂️This new technology not only reduces the construction time, but also prevents moisture-related damage to the wooden structure - ideal for urban timber construction.
