Looking back on the Thanksgiving holiday and thinking about the many things I am grateful for, I came across a quote that was too timely to not to be shared: "Leadership is not about titles, positions, or flowcharts. It is about one life influencing another." - John C. Maxwell. During my career, I've had the incredible privilege of working with diverse teams and witnessing the profound impact each member can have. It's not just the leaders or those in high-profile positions who make a difference; every single individual, regardless of their title, has the power to influence and shape the organization. Whether it's the admission staff at Wild Wadi Waterpark who ensured every guest had an unforgettable experience, the lifeguards at Aquaventure Waterpark, Great Wolf Lodge, City of Kissimmee, and Charlotte Mecklenburg County who prioritized safety above all, or the teams at the City of Box Elder who prioritized service and the needs of the citizens...each person's contribution is a vital thread in the tapestry of our collective success. I want to express my deepest gratitude to all those who have impacted our teams (and me) in both small and large ways. It's the smile from a guest service representative, the innovative solution from a team member, the "warm welcome" and "fond farewell" of frontline staff, or the extra effort put in by someone to ensure a project's success. These actions, though sometimes unseen, are the difference makers! Thanksgiving does not have to be gratitude for just ONE day. Instead, we can carry this spirit of gratitude and appreciation into the coming year. Let's recognize and celebrate the influence each of us has on one another. Because in the end, it's not about titles or positions; it's about how we choose to impact the lives around us. Here's to continuing to make a positive impact...one life at a time.

Here’s a CEO who can genuinely engage with people.
There’s a common theme and I couldn’t agree more. Grateful for family, friends, amazing food, and the work that keeps us going. It’s not just a job to us. It’s a passion we take seriously, but we never forget to have fun along the way. Here’s to doing what we love and loving who we share it with! What are you thankful for?

It’s this sense of family and connection that makes Family Offices so impactful. At their core, Family Offices embody the values that matter most—building relationships, supporting communities, and fostering legacies that extend far beyond financial wealth. They remind us that success is about more than what we achieve individually; it’s about the collective difference we can make when guided by purpose.

I want to take a moment to express how truly thankful I am. To my team, colleagues, partners, and most importantly, my family and friends—you are the foundation of everything I do. Through philanthropy and purpose-driven initiatives, Family Offices have the unique ability to influence not just individual families but entire communities, reshaping perspectives and leaving legacies rooted in generosity and positive change. I feel incredibly fortunate to witness and support this transformative work. To the amazing families and friends I collaborate with—your dedication to creating a better world is inspiring. Whether it’s supporting education, championing sustainability, or building stronger communities, the impact you’re making today will be felt for generations to come. This Thanksgiving, I’m reminded how much stronger we are together. The friends, family, and partnerships we cultivate allow us to dream bigger, give back more, and build a world we’re proud to leave behind. Thank you for the trust, collaboration, and shared vision. Here’s to continuing this journey of impact and purpose, one step at a time. Grateful for all of you and would love to hear what you are grateful for this holiday season.

The right people are what truly make an organization. When you have a team that shares the same values and commitment, it’s not just the work that gets done—it’s the culture that’s built.
As we wrapped up another year, our annual Christmas dinner was the perfect moment to reflect on the incredible people who make this journey so worthwhile. It’s not just the work we do. It’s how we do it. Every day, you bring your best. Whether it’s finding the right answers for our clients, tackling challenges with integrity, or simply supporting one another, your dedication shines through. You make this company what it is, and I couldn’t be more proud or more grateful. Thank you for the care, effort, and thoughtfulness you bring to everything you do. It’s a privilege to work alongside you. Here’s to celebrating this season and all the amazing things we’ll achieve together in the year ahead! 🎄🎉
