More of what our Recruiters did for their first jobs EVER. Ashley Faram worked as a temp gift wrapper at the Buckle during the Christmas season and was asked to join their sales team permanently! This started Ashley on her track of being great at speaking with clients and customers and is just part of why she's a stellar Business developer and Recruiter!

What just ONE great salesperson I recruited did for their company: SITUATION: ▶ Company had three straight years of decreasing revenue ▶ Shrinking margins ▶ Young, inexperienced sales team ACTION: ▶ Learned the ins and outs of their business, the nuances of the situation, and exactly the type of salesperson they needed. Someone with experience, skills AND the ability to inspire a young team ▶ Successfully recruited this individual RESULT: ▶ This person is consistently selling more per month, every month, than anyone had ever done even once in the company's 8 year history ▶ Company has broken their revenue record every year since I placed this salesperson (three years running) ▶ Company is doing over 65% more annual revenue than before this placement ▶ Company has broken their profit record every year since placing this salesperson. Great salespeople are able to sell on higher margins. 👉 >90% of my recruitment assignments are for less than $15,000 👍

I was in Equipment Leasing for the first 7 years of my career and making 6 figures...but I hated it. And when I got fired from my 3rd job in that industry, I had a pit in my stomach. 🤢 I was 31, 🤢 married, 🤢 wife pregnant, 🤢 new SUV car payment. I knew I didn't want to be in that industry any longer but what the f&*k else could I do? So I started applying for roles outside of my industry and got rejected by so so many. I thought about giving up and just staying in the industry I knew. That's just easier. But here's what sealed the pivot: A former boss, @jay-axelson-812660102 bumped into a VP of Sales, @tsims I was interviewing with and they got to talking and learned that they both knew me. Jay gave me a positive review and Todd hired me. I switched from the old school industry to a hot new industry, online media. How? My network. ✅ It's easier to switch industries and make a pivot in your life when you build a great network and you can let serendipity take it's course.

What My 4-Year-Old and Jenga Taught Me About Sales Family game night is a big deal in our house – and recently, my 4-year-old decided he was ready to tackle Jenga. 🧱 Let’s just say, waiting for his turn wasn’t exactly his strong suit at first! 😅 But after a few rounds (and a few creative tower collapses 😂), he started learning the importance of patience, strategy, and the satisfaction of seeing his blocks stack higher with every turn. 🎉 In sales, I realized, it’s not so different. At Integrity Staffing Solutions, we’re always focused on building something that lasts – whether that’s temporary staffing, direct hire, or RPO solutions. Each conversation 💬, every follow-up 📞, and every thoughtful question 🤔 we ask is like stacking another block. Sometimes the tower wobbles 😬, sometimes it falls 😅, but the key is learning from each move and rebuilding stronger 💪. Just like my toddler learned the value of waiting for his turn and making the right move, in sales, patience and strategy are everything. Building relationships and trust doesn’t happen overnight. It’s about being intentional, listening 👂, and knowing when to make your move to help your clients succeed. 🎯 Here’s to building relationships (and towers) that stand the test of time! 🏗️✨ #IntegrityStaffing #SalesJourney #FamilyTime #ClientRelationships #BuildingSuccess #SalesLife #JengaLessons

This woman cold-called me once about a job. I was in the middle of 300 things so I texted her back that it, "wasn't a good time." So she called me again 2 hours later at like 6:30pm after I'd left work. I didn't recognize her number. So she called again the next morning. People think it's okay to contact you 3 times in 12-16 hours. It isn't. I can't imagine anyone in sales is successful by being this annoying. But people all took her side saying it is "her right" and she is "doing a good job at sales." No. No she isn't. Do people this aggressive really get hired? Does anyone actually give business to someone who calls them incessantly in less than 24 hours? That isn't being a good salesperson in my opinion but being annoying. What do you think? Would you do business with someone who called you this much?

“We aren’t going to hit our Quota this year” That’s what the Director of Sales for a mid-sized firm told me last week. They have open sales positions and not enough manpower. Let’s face it we have an aging workforce, especially in the automation and manufacturing industries. When I go to the IMTS, Pack Expo and other trade shows I always run into people who are getting ready to retire. This will shrink the workforce even more. We are industry insiders & talking with professionals in the industry daily. We know salespeople who’d be down to interview with your company, but they won’t see your job ad because they aren’t looking at them. Those are the people you want on your team. But they’re also the people who will never apply to a job on your website. My job every day is to be proactively finding and talking to these “passive” job seekers. If you’re looking to tap into a completely new candidate pool of A players, let’s chat.

I recently realised that I just ticked over 1 Year at Pointer. 1 amazing year that I am sure will be the first of many. I had been so busy on "What's Next?", that I hadn't stopped to look back at what we've achieved. Here are some achievements and milestones that I am proud of: - We built and implemented a functional ATS system we use every day. - Integrated LinkedIn Recruiter and had both systems talking to each other. - We built a thriving sales community Tech Sales ANZ. - We created partnerships that have grown to feel more like friendships. - We built an online Pointer Sales Academy. - We extended our training offering adding more and more value. - And so much more I've missed... And here's some numbers: - 12,1003 activities recorded in TeamTailor. - 398 Candidate meetings (Not including Phone calls and Gmeets). - 91.8% offer acceptance rate. - 41 Placements made! But here's the main achievement for me: - We grew our team that will help us go to the next level. Elliott Porter, Patrick Flood, and Carl Manalac all call Pointer home. This has been one of the most rewarding years in my career. A year were I crafted a new career path for myself. I can't thank Ricky Pearl enough for choosing me to help build and learn alongside you. The opportunity and resulting outcomes have been life-changing. PS. Coincidently crossed 5k followers on LinkedIn today. Had around 300 when I started with Pointer. That journey in itself has been a massive opportunity to grow

Building a new desk is hard. You're excited when you get roles in, they're all new clients, you don't know what to expect, there's no history! You work your socks off, realise you've joined the process late and 99.99% of the potential candidates have been briefed or, have interviewed already! You're looking for that nugget now. You follow the process to completion, hopefully you found the nugget and placed someone. I'm now at the stage where everything I generated at the start of the year is placed, happily, the majority going my way however, I'm staring at a March full of outbound sales calls. These peaks and troughs are just part of building something that is worthwhile however, it's tough. I'm segmenting my data so I have a different focus daily and I know what that plan is, nothing worse than the procrastination of "Who am I going to call today?" Let me know how you make the long sales months easier, how do you make it work? #dontgiveup #SalesIsFun #BreakItDown
