The Cusop Village Hall project is one of our favorites. The committee members of the community venue, based in the village of Cusop in Herefordshire, contacted us because they wanted to get more use out of the village hall by bringing some of the surrounding outdoor space indoors. We faced two main challenges: The original brickwork incorporated protuding piers - meaning the external walls were not flat. The patio upon which the veranda was being installed sloped downwards - by up to 90mm from front to back. However, we carefully overcome those challenges, and the end result is a 4m x 12m aluminum veranda finished with a white powder-coated finish and featuring 16mm opal polycarbonate roof panels with glass screens and sliding doors. Now, the village hall can be used for any kind of event, whether come wind, rain, or shine.
