Imagine having unlimited resources to scale based on increased #patient volume or perhaps staffing shortages. That is exactly what a #GenAI mentor can do for your organization. With a shortage of #nurses, #care managers and #physicians why not use technology to free resources to focus on the more complex needs of patients? Here is just one example, the #AI resource underwent training to fulfill the role of an information desk agent at a #provider. His training involved familiarizing himself with proprietary data from a provider named LMC. He adeptly addressed patient inquiries and efficiently guided them to different services within the #health system/hospital. Link: https://lnkd.in/efVHZMhq

Thoughts of an oncologist on real-world data. Real-world data on “why, what, how” is a discussion I have in every single formal and informal forum I join. Reality is we are “data rich”, we have huge amounts of diverse data, consisting of structured, unstructured, and derived variables. Analysing real world data can open the door to answering critical questions we can’t address in clinical trials, as non practical, non ethical or non feasible. Many questions to address. How can we use these data resources to enable us understand better disease patterns, and health care through out the whole cancer journey? How can we link these data together? What are the methods to use? Looking forward to our discussions with my amazing colleagues Derralynn Hughes Arun Sujenthiran MD , Benjamin Pickwell-Smith, and Flatiron Health UK Voices Panel Member Linda Galbraith, on 28th January on how we can transform cancer research and care with Real-World Data. To join us, see link in post below. Please also share experiences, thoughts on barriers/enablers in this post and PM me burning questions you would like to see addressed. #cancerresearch #realworlddata #cancercare #cancerdata #innovation Flatiron Health West of Scotland Innovation Hub Katriona Brooksbank Rasheeq Syed Roma Maguire MBE

Transforming cancer research by moving away from manual data management is a game changer. The American Cancer Society's approach with the VOICES study is a prime example of how a modern, purpose-built platform can enable researchers to focus on what truly matters—improving participant engagement and study outcomes. #CancerResearch #DataManagement #AI #MultimodalData #FasterTogether
It's time to bring cancer observational studies out of the "Excel era" and into a modern technology landscape that eliminates manual data management—allowing researchers to shift their focus from tedious data tasks to more meaningful work, such as engaging participants and enhancing study enrollment. Learn more about how the American Cancer Society approached this with the VOICES study: https://lnkd.in/dGmVkvmX
