In 2025, we will build a new DRS sorting installation for Dansk Retursystem A/S, Denmark's leading deposit system operator. This state-of-the-art sorting installation will sort up to 3.5 million PET bottles and aluminum cans daily. The installation is designed to be compact and flexible in order to accommodate future upgrades. Charles DARIDON, our Global Sales Director, elaborated on why flexibility is key in this plant: “This flexibility ensures that the plant can evolve alongside changing regulations or material streams, such as new types of packaging that may require sorting. Innovation in the greenhouse: PATS-C At Nieuwkoop Europe, we are committed to continuous innovation in our cultivation processes. With the introduction of 13 PATS-C devices in our greenhouses, we are taking a significant step towards automated pest control. The PATS-C is an innovative system that uses infrared cameras to detect flying insects in the greenhouse at night. And when it comes to flexibility of use, the specialist cladding system can be adapted to deliver a chilled environment as low as 0°C, so is suitable for a range of businesses – from food production and distribution to pharmaceuticals.
