"The Joy of Humble Beginnings" Every great journey starts with small, often imperfect, beginnings. Reflecting on one of my first projects with JavaScript, I’ve realized that success is not just about reaching the destination—it’s about embracing the process. Today, I want to share some advice that has been instrumental in my journey so far: 1️⃣ Start with Prayer Whether you are facing a challenging task, a career milestone, or an unknown path, start with prayer or reflection. It brings clarity, peace, and the confidence to take bold steps forward. Faith has been my anchor, especially in times of uncertainty. 2️⃣ Make Rest a Priority It is easy to get caught up in the hustle, but burnout does more harm than good. Taking breaks, prioritizing rest, and recharging your mind and body will enable you to show up as your best self—whether at school, work, or in personal projects. 3️⃣ Stay Persistent The road to success is rarely smooth, but consistency always pays off. Progress might be slow, but every small step forward is a victory. Keep learning, keep pushing, and trust the process. Remember, what seems impossible today will be your warm-up tomorrow. 4️⃣ Build Genuine Connections Networking is not just about exchanging business cards—it’s about building relationships. Surround yourself with people who inspire and challenge you. Attend events, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to learn from others. You never know who might open the next door in your career. Looking back, I’ve found joy in my humble beginnings—the long study hours, the countless coding errors, and even the moments of self-doubt. Each of these experiences has shaped me into who I am today and striving to become. To my peers, the journey may not be easy, but it will always be worth it. How do you embrace the early stages of your journey? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments! #14DaysLinkedinChallengeWithPrecious GitHub: https://lnkd.in/dUHGa-9y

🔄 𝗨𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 – 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 #Day008 Ever had one of those days where nothing goes as planned? 🗓️ Yesterday was mine. The agenda: add two features to a product 🧑💻 and advance two chapters in a technical book I'm authoring 📚. Only for my whole day to be spent battling with a mysterious bug I never planned for—completely unscripted. Here's the backstory: a few weeks ago, I introduced a feature that worked just fine ✅. Recently, I tweaked it, tested it, and all seemed well... until it didn't ❌. Cue the hours spent chasing a ghost in the machine, aiming to find and fix the bug, but I didn't see any feasible outcome. Then I tried testing the feature from scratch and then it once again started working. Turns out, the feature used a third-party API, and the entire mix-up was due to an authorization mismatch. All that time, the "bug" was just a case of crossed wires, not a code error. In essence I spent the whole day fixing an error that did not exist in the first place. What's the take-home message? 📝 Sometimes, the problem isn't the problem. Our understanding—or lack thereof—can lead us on a wild goose chase. Before diving into fixing mode, let's ensure we're solving the right issue. Remember, our route to achieving goals isn't a straight line; it's dotted with detours and learning opportunities 🔀. And setbacks? They're just pit stops🛑, not the end of the journey. Keep pushing, keep learning, and believe in the process, even when the unexpected happens. Because in the end, success is a mosaic of trials, errors, and triumphs 🏆. Stay the course! 💪 #20daylinkedinchallengewithhaoma #DevLife #ProblemSolving #FacingChallenges #CareerGrowth #SuccessIsAJourney

🌟 Life Updates, Bucket Lists & Extreme Accountability 🌟 📚 This academic year has been such a vibe—fun, challenging, and full of little wins that make me feel like I’m finally getting somewhere. And the cherry on top? Next semester, we are moving to a new campus! New space, fresh energy, and all the opportunities in the world for me to get lost. I couldn’t be more excited. ⚰ But let’s get real for a second. Recently, I came across this study that made me stop and rethink a lot about life. It looked at people on their deathbeds (stay with me here), and when asked about their regrets, the overwhelming majority didn’t lament the things they did—but the things they didn’t. That hit me hard. Like, what am I putting off? What risks am I too scared to take? What dreams am I sitting on, waiting for the “right time”? 😎 That’s when I decided: nothing’s going to keep me more accountable to achieving my goals than putting them out there for all of you to see. The internet is forever, and now you’re my extreme accountability partners (no pressure, though). 🥁 So, here are 2 big goals I’m ready to tackle in 2025: 1️⃣ Finish writing my book – It’s been sitting there, whispering, “Write me already!” so this year, it’s happening 2️⃣ Learn a new programming skill – I’m diving headfirst into the coding world. Whether it’s mastering Python or getting my hands dirty with JavaScript, it’s time to level up my skills and bring some of my dream projects closer to reality. Accountability, people—hold me to this! Now, here’s where you come in! Let’s make this a group effort. Drop one (or a few) things you’re dying to do in the comments—whether it’s learning something new, traveling, or finally using that gym membership. Bonus: sharing it here makes it harder to back out later. Let’s hype each other up and make 2024 the year we actually do the things we keep saying we’ll do. 🚀 Ready? Go!

"Omoo...does the process know that we are trusting it?" Learning new skills during the lockdown felt daunting and sometimes I felt like there should be a shortcut, I was feeling like if I had learnt those skills 2 years ago, by the lockdown, I would have been working in Google or something😁 Anyways, fast forward to today, it's remarkable how four years have flown by. Whether I chose to learn those new skills or not, time would have passed by anyway, so I've realized that it's not just about trusting the process—it's about truly enjoying it💯 If what you're doing aligns with your ability, you should enjoy the process, at least to an extent. Enjoying it, keeps you resilient enough to reach those big wins and you'll be patient enough to have an in-depth understanding of fundamentals, which is key in the mastery of anything at all. Remember it is quite important to set time-bound goals so as to avoid being complacent, and also because goals will help you track your progress. As we step into this new week, let's continue to push forward, trust in our journey, and most importantly, enjoy every step along the way. Happy new week, everyone! 🌟 #TrustTheProcess #EnjoyTheJourney #GrowthMindset #KeepPushing #HappyNewWeek #coding #zagadat #problemsolving #developer #tips #linkedin #connections
