Today, we highlight Yue Shen, a UX Researcher & Designer, MSI Student at University of Michigan. According to research by Forrester, every dollar invested in UX design can result in a return on investment (ROI) between $2 and $100. Improving the user experience of a website or app can lead to higher conversion rates, increased sales, and greater customer satisfaction. UX design and the real estate business share similarities, as both involve the strategic placement of elements, whether it’s a button on a website or a building in a physical space. “Location, Location, Location” isn’t just a mantra for real estate agents; it’s also a fundamental principle of UX design. Just as the right location can make or break a property’s value, the placement of elements on a webpage or app can greatly impact user satisfaction and engagement. #Day29 🚀Reflecting and Learning 🚀 Hello everyone! Today marks the end of day 29, the last but one day of my incredible UX design internship at Ideation Axis. I took some time to review everything I've learned throughout this journey, from the basics of creating shapes to the complexities of incorporating animations in design. This internship has been a treasure trove of knowledge, and I'm especially grateful for the opportunity to access the Google UX Design Professional course, which is set to enhance my skills and make me job-ready. A big thank you to the Ideation Axis team for this amazing opportunity! But I can’t wrap up today’s update without sharing some insights from my latest learning focus: creating User Journey Maps. A User Journey Map is an illustration of what the user goes through to achieve their goals. As a designer, creating these maps is crucial because they offer several benefits: 1. They help UX designers create obstacle-free paths for users. 2. They reduce the impact of designer bias, ensuring the focus remains on user needs. 3. They highlight new pain points, uncovering obstacles a user may face when using a product. That's a wrap for today!
