Holland pushing him all the way Ward having a storming start in first few events. Faceys relaxed approach to every event, making the log look like foam! Sam Ashton having a bad start but getting into a rythem mid show with some good performances outstanding x5 reps on 300kg axle deadlift- event win. Comp just didn't go in favour of Miro who did get off to a bad start and it was hard to get into a flow for hi. In later stages of comp he seemed to get better! Pearson good on york at 80 metres joint 2nd in that event. Libby Lou coming in after a long lay off training shaking the cob webs off and giving it a good go - full respect! In at the deepend! Lily Gaskell having a great event on sandbag over Yoke head to head with Libby. Also using split jerk on axle overhead - great technique to watch Pearson using pure shoulder power on axle & showing great strength across events, ultimately pulling ribs on Yoke but banking enough points to drop out of last event & still see win. Novice Jordan Davies & Andy Bainbridge Andy getting better of Jordan on deadlift with 5 reps against 4 and taking yokesin, Davies getting the axle win 3 reps to 1 and and on sandbag carry further distance. Came down to face off sandbag 100kg over Yoke Davies taking win 9 reps too Andys 8. Massive thanks to venue. Great hosts of this regional competition.
