How do you make more impact as a developer in your team? It’s actually pretty simple. What I call it as "𝑹𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏" Turn yourself into the developer who can “𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭”: - Ask a few key questions to understand most impacted problem. - Figure out the POC's across team to talk to - Write some code - Get it done There’s nothing more valuable to teams than a developer who does this. If you can do it too, your manager will fight over you. ♻ Repost to help others find it 🔔 Follow: Gurtaj S. #programming #softwareengineering #softwaredevelopment #linkedin #linkedinglobal

🚀 Problem-Solving in Development: My Go-To Strategy 🛠️ As developers, we face challenges every day—whether it’s debugging a stubborn error, optimizing performance, or designing a scalable feature. Over time, I’ve realized that solving problems isn’t just about coding; it’s about thinking systematically. Here’s the framework I follow to tackle any development problem: 1️⃣ Understand the Problem: Dive deep into the requirements and clarify any ambiguities. A well-defined problem is halfway solved! 2️⃣ Research & Analyze: Explore solutions, study documentation, and learn from similar use cases. 3️⃣ Break It Down: Simplify complex issues into smaller, manageable tasks. 4️⃣ Plan & Prioritize: Create a roadmap and tackle the critical components first. 5️⃣ Iterate & Test: Build incrementally, test frequently, and refine the solution as you go. 6️⃣ Optimize & Reflect: After solving the problem, optimize the solution and take time to reflect on lessons learned. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow—not just as a developer but as a problem-solver. 🌱 💡 What’s your approach to conquering development challenges? Let’s learn from each other! #SoftwareDevelopment #ProblemSolving #Programming #Learning #Growth

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: 𝐀 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 I still remember the first line of code I wrote— a simple “Hello, World!” program. I felt like a wizard conjuring something out of thin air. Fast forward to today, and I’m building systems that power real-world applications. It’s surreal to think how far I’ve come, but the journey hasn’t always been smooth. There were days when debugging felt like staring into the abyss. Once, I spent hours chasing a bug, only to realize I had missed a semicolon. That humbling moment taught me patience and attention to detail. The biggest lesson? Growth doesn’t come from sticking to what’s easy. One of my toughest projects involved learning a new framework on the fly—it was overwhelming, but pushing through taught me how to adapt quickly and stay curious. What keeps me going is seeing my work make a tangible impact. Whether it’s a small feature that improves usability or an entire system that helps businesses thrive, knowing my code makes a difference is my ultimate motivator. Your journey might look different, but some moments also shaped you as a developer. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮? Success in coding often comes down to perseverance. When you finally get a different error message, it's a sign of progress! Every step forward, no matter how small, brings you closer to the solution. As developers, we all know that the road to a perfect codebase is paved with countless bugs and errors. But instead of getting discouraged, we should celebrate these moments. They indicate that we're thinking critically, iterating, and learning – all of which are crucial to mastering our craft. Remember, the difference between a good developer and a great one is the ability to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes, and keep moving forward. Each error is just another step on the journey to innovation. So next time you encounter a new error message, take a moment to appreciate it. It means you're making progress. 🚀 #Programming #ProblemSolving #GrowthMindset #TechLife #DeveloperJourney #ContinuousLearning"

Being a successful engineer isn't just about writing flawless code. It's about identifying real-world problems, creating actionable plans, and delivering meaningful products or services that impact lives. 🚀 In this video, I discuss why it's more important to focus on planning, developing, and delivering solutions rather than just striving for perfection in programming. The real value lies in understanding your audience and meeting their needs effectively. Let's shift the focus from being "just a good programmer" to becoming an engineer who creates value-driven solutions for the masses. 💡 What are your thoughts on this mindset shift?
