Being a beginner sucks Or does it Honestly, I guess it comes with both pros and cons Here are some things this past weekend of attempted snowboarding made me feel: “Am I ever going to get this right” “I’ll never get to the big slope” “They all took the exact same lesson as me and are already doing it so effortlessly” ”Why bother go up again, its not going to make a difference because Im just going to fall…again” I think my snowboarding experience can be a placeholder for many different things that make many different people feel all these same things. Be it in business ventures Marketing attempts Job interviews Whatever it is! A reminder to myself and anybody who needs it too: Growth can ONLY begin once you are willing to suck at something new! And that I did! PS: I did actually progress, maybe not to the standard I had set for myself but progress nonetheless.
