Supporting Houston Christian High School at the Mustang Classic! 🏫💙 🏌️♂️⛳️ Group 1 Automotive was proud to sponsor HCHS’s annual Mustang Classic Golf Tournament at BlackHorse Golf Club on October 14! 🎉 We had a blast supporting this wonderful school and chatting with the golfers about GP1 VIP Services and all the amazing benefits we extend to our VIP clients. 🤝 We also showcased a 2025 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate and a 2025 Kia K4 EX, which is brand new to Kia’s lineup and starts just under $22K, provided by Beck & Masten Buick/GMC North and Beck & Masten Kia in Tomball. These were displayed on Hole 1, where our tent with snacks and drinks for the players was set up. 🛻🚗🍪🥤 Plus, don’t forget—each purchase made through the GP1 VIP Services program means more donations back to the school! 💰📚 #SupportLocal #GP1VIPServices #HoustonChristianHS #MustangClassic #CommunityDriven #BeckandMastenNorth #BeckandMastenKia

Some of our students have a dream and that dream is...To Go Fast! If you would take a minute to consider where you started and where you all have achieved. Along the way there were those willing to give advice or a helping hand. If you would be willing to give either, reach out to this group of students who are pursuing this on their own outside of school and trying to make it to the starting line! #RacingForLemons #LemonsOrBust #StudentRacingTeam #LemonDreamTeam #24hoursoflemons
We’re Motorsports Management students gearing up to race in the 24 Hours of Lemons at Road Atlanta this December! We’ve started a GoFundMe to help cover race expenses like tires and lodging and we need your support to make this dream a reality. Any donation, big or small, will go a long way in helping us get to the track. If you can’t donate, sharing our link is just as valuable! Thanks for your support and see you at the races! https://gofund.me/acb4dec3

Tasmanian greyhound racing clubs are deeply integrated into the local community, actively supporting a wide array of grassroots organisations and initiatives. In Hobart, the Greyhound Racing Club has embraced local sporting clubs by hosting sporting clubs challenge nights that benefit a variety of clubs across sports ranging from AFL to netball, offering both direct sponsorships and opportunities to win additional funding. Similarly, the Launceston Club enriches the community with race days tailored for aged care residents, creating memorable social experiences. Moreover, a collective initiative across Tasmanian clubs culminated in a generous $35,220 donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charity, significantly enhancing the support facilities for families of children undergoing medical treatments in Hobart. These initiatives underline the greyhound racing industry’s dedication to nurturing and giving back to the communities they operate in, reinforcing their role as key players in building and sustaining local community spirit. A little 'inside baseball' for how a Rally North America event works. 80+ cars line up in a smallish town (think Erie, PA or Knoxville, TN) on a sunny weekday morning - come to think of it, I've never been on a starting grid where it was raining - listen to a rallying introduction from our organizers and that town's leadership, and then get in our cars, waiting for the coveted Clue Card for the day and the green flag. Local news crews recording as we take off, one by one. Pictured is one of those Clue Cards - this from our 2016 Big Sky Rally which ran from Billings, MT to Portland, OR. As you can see, each checkpoint is described with just a clue and an image. We have to figure out what it is, where it is, and how to get there more quickly than the other 79 cars' occupants. While respecting traffic laws, mind you; a ticket is an instant DQ. Our place in the starting grid is dictated by how much money we raise for the charity that year. In 2012, I secured pole position with approximately $3500 raised. By now, pole position requires more than $20,000 in donations. We are that serious about the cause. I'm usually good now for about $8,000 - though I'm behind in my efforts so far this year. Please help me out by hitting Like and, if you think the cause worthy, repost to your networks. All donations, large or small, are hugely appreciated and roundly celebrated. My goal for this week is to raise $250 through our donation page, which is linked below. All proceeds go directly to Camp Sunshine and you will receive a receipt for tax purposes. 🏕 ☀ This post is related to Rally North America's 2024 Sunshine Rally. As we do nearly every year, my wife and I are participating under the team name Slightly Lost. Our goal is to raise as much money for the chosen #charity as we possibly can; please help us make a difference for the kids at Camp Sunshine by contributing at our Team Page. Link in the Comments. For more information, or if you represent a business that would like to get exposure during the event, DM me. #fundraising #foragoodcause #rallynorthamerica #campsunshine #slightlylost661

UPDATE: NASCAR HAS EXTENDED THE GIVEATHON!!! GAINBRIDGE, one of the primary NASCAR GIVEATHON sponsors, had $77,000 left over that they wanted to give out so they convinced the NASCAR Foundation to extend the GIVEATHON. So, NOW OUR PAGE IS BACK ON the GREEN FLAG is waving, allowing us to receive additional donations! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? $77,000 in matching donations are available until Sunday, May 19 at 10am or until these funds are gone. All 350 participating non-profits are eligible for this matching opportunity. All donations that come in to our non-profit's donation page will be matched up to $500 per donation. While we were certainly blessed by the giving during the scheduled event, we can actually double the additional donations over the next few days which would be AMAZING. If you gave, THANK YOU! Please share this announcement with your network. If you didn't have the opportunity to give earlier this week, please consider joining the team. $10.00 given equals a $20.00 donation. $500 given equals a $1,000 gift. NOTE: If you are led to give more than $500, please break the donations up into $500 maximum gifts so that each will be matched by NASCAR. Because They Deserve Better. https://lnkd.in/e8HJ5uKx

Please help support this Rising Star! The Go Fund Me link is within the post below! No matter how big or small every little helps.
The winner of the Rising Star Award goes to… 🏆 Bailey Collinge, Bailey James Racing Bailey is truly a force to be reckoned with! The judges love his enthusiasm for fundraising, his confidence and his energy. His dedication is admirable, juggling his schoolwork, racing and everyday life. Bailey recently finished 8th in F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo’s DRS45 National UK Karting series but still found time to bake cakes and brownies for his ‘Bailey Bakes’ events. A special mention to his parents Kristy Collinge and Simon, for supporting Bailey in his fundraising and for their ongoing commitment to supporting Pendleside. Fiona Redmond was also highly commended within this category, for showing great leadership, often pushing herself out of her comfort zone to raise much needed funds for the Hospice! 🤩 Well done! Congratulations to our winner and to all those who were nominated! 👏🏼 Thank you to Antonia W. for presenting the award.
