There’s something you need to know… 🐘 The nuclear energy narrative is just the old fossil fuel energy narrative in a different font. It’s a tactic to prolong the use of coal and gas and delay the widespread adoption of readily available, cost-effective renewables. Australia possesses an abundance of wind and solar resources, and with proper storage solutions and a just transition, they offer the most viable pathway to clean, affordable, and resilient energy for all! 💪 #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #ClimateChange

What we know and what future hold is unknown. In future, Modular small size nuclear power plant will be a essential mix with renewable energy sources. Electricity demands is going to be double in coming years and energy transition from coal, fossil fuels is must. Most of the renewable energy storage solution are expensive. Nuclear energy can ensure our energy independence and to guarantee the production of low-carbon electricity is invaluable for tackling the climate emergency. #EnergyTransition #CleanEnergyTransition#NetZero #GreenEnergy #Decarbonization #EnergyRevolution #ClimateAction #SustainableFuture #CarbonNeutral #TransitionToRenewables #NuclearEnergy #EnergyEfficiency #SustainableEnergy #RenewableEnergy #PowerGeneration

Ever find yourself feeling lost in sustainability chats? Let's clarify with a quick jargon buster. Energy Transition: This is the change from using fossil fuels like oil, natural gas and coal to clean, renewable sources of power such as wind, solar and water. Important to note, nuclear energy is sometimes included in the list of renewable energies, but as radioactive waste is still a major problem, in most people’s eyes it is not regarded as clean. Look out for more posts on the Island’s journey to net zero emissions. #SustainabilityTalk #EnergyTransition

Every day, a vast renewable energy spill from our local nuclear fusion friend, the Sun, hits the Earth. Each and every hour, 430 quintillion Joules of solar electricity washes over our planet. The total amount of energy that all humans use in an entire year is 410 quintillion Joules. One hour of sunshine to power all human activity for one year. One hour out of 8,760 calendar year hours. Combine that with EVs, V2G, wider battery storage, inventive new battery technologies, interconnectors, and our new sustainable energy future is set. #evs #sustainability

Electric dreams or coal nightmares? The real cost of powering EVs My congratulations to Greenlane™ and personally to Patrick for reaching such a big milestone. There is a big discussion about grid strength for EV adoption but nobody talked about the source of energy. Here is a real map of the States major generation source. US in total: 60% from fossil fuels, 18% from nuclear power and only 20% from renewables. Very big question should we really spend money of taxpayers for building transition lines to bring coal power to california? Or better spend them on distributed generation from renewables? I’d be happy if you could comment on this! #RNG #Hydrogen #Microturbines #CHPH2Ready #Lineargenerators #EVoffgridcharging

We can all agree bold and innovative solutions are essential when it comes to the #netzero journey. Achieving this vision requires embracing a diverse mix of technologies—solar, wind, nuclear, gas, and storage—we consider this the #energytransformation at Hatch. Read Andrew Barton's blog for insights from down under 👇 #energy #Australia #expertsontap
Australia stands at a critical juncture in its journey towards a #netzero future. As political debates heat up, bold and innovative solutions are essential. Andrew Barton highlights our "flipping the grid" strategy which aims to transform the energy system from fossil fuel dependency to #renewable leadership. Achieving this vision requires embracing a diverse mix of technologies—solar, wind, nuclear, gas, and storage—while depoliticizing energy policy. This approach will create a resilient and diversified energy grid, capable of withstanding global shifts in supply and demand. The time to act is now. At Hatch, we're committed to enhancing public knowledge and fostering informed decisions for a #sustainable energy future. Ever thought of trucks powered by wind, waterfalls, or even nuclear energy? 🤔 It might sound odd, but as we shift to electric trucks, that’s exactly what is happening! These trucks depend on the electricity from the grid for charging the battery. So, as the grid gets cleaner with more renewable energy like wind, solar, and hydro, our trucks get cleaner too. Curious how what the grid mix in different countries looks like? Have a look for yourself: https://lnkd.in/dpgTNeuC The greener the grid, the greener the journey! 🚛 🌍 #sustainablelogistics #allchiefs

Sources of renewable energy 💡 or its reservoirs are different from energies of nuclear power plants or fossil fuels because of their abundance and diversity. The primary advantage in using green sources such as ♻️ recycled coconut husks is that they do not produce dangerous emissions and greenhouse gases. #renewableenergy #cleanenergy #greenenergy #briquettemaking
