Can we embed Retrofit in BAU to the point where it just happens? Once we know the target we can embed #Retrofit within existing planned investment programmes supplemented by new programmes for measures such as solid wall insulation. This property's pathway to Net Zero looks pretty simple technically, the financial challenge is however ongoing.

Our paper on smart infra approach for infrastructure portfolio diversification is now published at Journal of Alternative Investments and top pick article by Portfolio Management Research
Our Top Pick Article 'Achieving Diversification in Unlisted Infrastructure Investment: A Smart Infra Portfolio Construction' by Frederic Blanc-Brude, Abhishek Gupta & Moataz Farid, PhD is here: https://lnkd.in/eXbVs_9c Challenging conventional wisdom, the authors assert that simply increasing the number of assets, sectors, and geographies does not efficiently enhance diversification. Instead, it is possible to achieve a good level of diversification with fewer positions if diversification is based on risk factors. The authors assert that unlisted infrastructure equity should represent between 4.5% and 13% of multi-asset portfolios comprising traditional and alternative investments. Case Study: The Impact of AIFs on Infrastructure Development Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) are pivotal in driving infrastructure development across sectors with their financial flexibility and strategic investments. A prime example is the Golden Growth Fund (GGF), a Category 2 AIF, which recently acquired a land parcel in South Delhi's Anand Niketan. This move highlights how AIFs can significantly impact urban development and the luxury real estate market by transforming prime locations into high-end residential complexes. GGF's project, which will create four luxury dwelling units, adds value to a supply-constrained market while enhancing the area's infrastructure. Beyond real estate, AIFs are also crucial in funding renewable energy projects, such as solar and wind power, supporting India's clean energy goals. Additionally, AIFs contribute to transportation infrastructure by financing road and highway projects. Their adaptability and professional management make AIFs key players in India's infrastructure growth, serving as catalysts for urban and rural development. #AIFs #Infrastructure #LuxuryRealEstate #AlternateInvestmentFund #RealEstateFund #GoldenGrowthFund
