As we approach Black Friday, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Chief warned about the increased risk of online scams and fraud. With more shoppers than ever taking advantage of digital deals, cybercriminals are prepared to exploit vulnerabilities. 🔐 Stay Safe Online: - Be cautious of suspicious emails, texts, and websites offering deals that seem too good to be true. - Ensure websites are secure—look for "https://" and check for a padlock symbol in the browser. - Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication where possible. Shoppers lost over £10 million to cyber criminals during last year’s festive shopping period, with 25–34 year olds most likely to fall victim. Protect yourself and your data by staying vigilant this shopping season.Cybercriminals are always looking for new ways to exploit us. #CyberSecurity #OnlineSafety #BlackFriday #NCSC #CyberAwareness
