Our 0-25 Multi-Agency SEND Data Dashboard is a commissioning tool that brings together data relevant to education, health and social care in one tool. The dashboard is designed to support local areas to understand their data through 3 lenses: - Local profile: understanding local need - Governance and assurance: 'what did we do and how well are we doing it?' - Qualitative Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 'how do we know we are making a difference?' The dashboard includes suggested indicators that local areas could use within an existing local outcomes framework and SEND dashboard. 🔍 How can countries answer the increasing demand for data? 🔗 The National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (#NSDS) provides leverage to overcome this challenge by coordinating all stakeholders of the data ecosystem. 💡 “It is not about producing data; it is about understanding who we produce data for and understanding the context under which we are operating to produce statistics.” 📹 Norah Madaya, Consultant for PARIS21, explains the NSDS. #data4development #developmentdata #globaldevelopment #sdgd #developmentstatistics

CDC has published 0-25 Multi-agency SEND Data Dashboard. It must be acknowledged Local Authorities' difficulties to link education, health and social care data within SEND. "Currently this education, health and care data is in different places, captured by different parts of the system and provides assurance to different agencies". However, a holistic SEND approach is needed to fully understand the needs and effectively provide services. Understanding data is key to purposefully develop services and support children, young people and families with SEND. #SEND #EHCP #councilfordisabledchildren

Despite growing awareness of the power of data and AI, it can still be difficult to articulate to colleagues and senior leaders why it is so important to invest in data. It was with this particular challenge in mind that work was initiated by The Scottish Government, NHS National Services Scotland and The Data Lab - Innovation Centre to scope out how the public sector in Scotland can be supported to talk about the importance of data. What became clear was a perceived lack of an overarching vision or guiding approach for data. To address this, a group of people from the public, private and voluntary sectors were brought together to help co-create a draft long-term vision for public sector data in Scotland. The draft vision has now been published and we are looking for your input to challenge and inform the work so that it can be taken forward and realised. So, please get involved and use the link below to: · Access and read the draft vision · Complete our questionnaire and share your feedback · Register interest in participating in the realisation of the vision 📢 Get involved today: https://lnkd.in/efMUfEHQ 💻 You can also join our upcoming webinars to learn more about the project, ask any questions you might have and share your views: 23 October 11:00 BST 30 October 10:00 GMT 6 November 13:00 GMT
