Did you know Argentina's first #GovTech innovation lab and Latin America's first GovTech fund all started in Cordoba? 💡 The city has taken a leap in digital transformation upon adopting a comprehensive #digitalgovernment strategy with an #openinnovation approach. The Municipality of Cordoba’s Subsecretary for Knowledge Management and GovTech Ecosystem, Luciano Crisafulli shares more about his journey with CorLab and the importance of public-private collaboration for shared objectives.

The role that #privatecapital plays in supporting national and regional economies has become more important in a challenging economic climate; out of the 2.2 million jobs in businesses backed by the industry, over 50% are based outside of London and England’s Southeast.   The BVCA welcomes the new research released by Barclays Eagle Labs which shows that the UK remains a global hub for #investment into science and technology.   Key insights reveal that: ◾ Start-ups in Wales and Yorkshire broke the global trend of a post-pandemic funding slump. ◾ A huge majority of founders are optimistic about the market for selling or listing their company but are most likely to exit by selling to international buyers.   This research follows a new campaign by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology to get British investors to invest in science and tech and make sure that growth-ready firms in the sector can access the funding they need from the UK to scale their success.
