KISS OFF!! That's the title of a video I recorded earlier, and also similar to some of the words I used when trying to upload it here on LI. For some reason I simply can't upload videos here any more - it just freezes my computer for about 20 minutes! It's probably a hardware issue at my end, but oh blimey it's annoying! If you fancy watching it, and I'm talking about music, content, profit, then here it is on the old youtubes ;-) #thegreatgordino #thecontentmonetisationmachine #contentmonetisation #musicmatters #socialmediamarketing https://lnkd.in/e69ErW6G

THIS is an instant confidence booster! Who doesn’t want a way to boost your confidence AND nail your next presentation or important conversation? Read on… Don’t stumble. 📻 Instead, use walk-in music. I love to listen to an upbeat tune like “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars listen. 👉 Here’s the why: 🗣️ Walk-in music gets everyone relaxed, including you! People will start chatting. This is exactly what you want, AND it’s fun! 👉 Here’s the how: 🎵 Pick your favorite tunes: My playlist is what I listen to on the treadmill, and it’s always upbeat, and covers a range of music - on purpose. 💃🕺 Decide when to use it- ideally I play it 15 minutes in advance, and I like it LOUD. Here’s the results: ✅ One of my favorite clients said she couldn’t ratchet up the volume because she was in an office setting, so she played it for herself in advance. 🦁 What did she choose? Katy Perry’s “Roar”. ✅ How did she feel? She nailed her presentation! 🙏 Trust me, whatever music you choose, this works! What songs get you fired up? https://lnkd.in/gH3E9NRA #Presentation #Confidence #Music #RealEstate #IREMOC #BOMAOC

Life will quickly pass, whether you want it to or not. Here's an examination of life, the good news with the bad - bad news first. The song is called "Tick Tock Man". (Yes I borrowed the name from the sci-fi story.) Here's the link. https://lnkd.in/e7PUBFa8 While making this video, I discovered that it's one of my darker songs, but the message at the end shines the needed light on the situation. To order the album that this song is on (The Story) or the sheet music for it, or any of my other music, go to https://lnkd.in/gNbZxsHM.

I have such a wide taste in music. Like seriously, if we've never talked music, we should. This live performance by Black Sabbath from 1970 is so amazing. Thanks to Greg Dohler for bringing it up in conversation over lunch today. Greg's a great photographer and friend, and it was great to commiserate about this awesome performance. What does this have to do with business? Black Sabbath was panned by the critics of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Rolling Stone said they were "Like Cream! But worse." But watch this film, and you'll see that from a performance point of view, they're amazing. They were operating on a different level and totally misunderstood by the prevailing opinions. Isn't that our dream as business owners? To press beyond, to be on the cutting edge of our industry? To innovate and grow? Final thought: if my dream as a business owner had a soundtrack, I'd definitely want Bill Ward playing the drums. Good gravy!

The way fans have embraced Post Malone's foray into country music is a great example of how many long-standing walls of genre delineation are being broken down today. Alongside the popularity of genre-fluid playlists such as "POLLEN" and Lorem," the success of this track demonstrates that fans are more open-minded than ever to new sonic textures -- they just want to FEEL a certain way. Music is becoming less and less about genre, and more and more about MOOD. Meanwhile, a swarm of up-and-coming independents are releasing music that is nearly impossible to classify into one particular genre. I consider this a victory for artists and producers, as a broader range of the palette becomes available, allowing them to paint their story in richer, more vibrant color than ever. One thing that has not changed in Posty's whole career--the dude (and his team) write really, really good songs. Structurally, lyrically, visually, and emotionally appealing. The genre aspect is really cool packaging...and I'm here for it. What do you think? Do you mourn the loss of genre? Do you enjoy when an artist you love take a sharp left turn into new territory?

AI is everywhere – but many examples are not yet truly disruptive - I believe that has now changed in the world of songwriting and recording. Whilst for many years guitars, drums and synths have routinely been recorded digitally – singing has been the last bastion of analogue recording – with a real life singer using a microphone. That has now been completely changed by AI software. I am a hobbyist songwriter, musician and producer – and vocals have always been a challenge as I can’t sing 😊. Luckily to date my son Nick (who is a drummer) has done singing duties. On my latest song (Scars Form Memories - links below) the vocalist is called Solaria. Solaria doesn’t actually exist – other than in the SynthesizerV Pro AI vocalist software that I used to create her – she is an AI vocalist - and all the vocals, harmonies and backing vocals on this latest song are AI generated. This is great news for amateur songwriters like me – and also for professional recording studios who no longer have to use real life vocalists. Not so great of course if you earn your living as a singer ☹ Here are the links to the song (on Spotify and Apple Music). https://lnkd.in/d7zwfFC6 https://lnkd.in/dChgCuVD Just as a bit of background to the lyrics – we happen to live in a 400 year old house – and you can see in the fabric of the building some of it’s history – but at the same time we know nothing about the lives of the people who have been resident in the house over the years. So while the arrival of AI vocalist software is a pretty recent thing, I really believe this is a great example of where AI will disrupt the music industry. It will make it tougher for the people who currently earn a living as singers, and is already causing copyright issues with AI impersonation of famous artists. I realise that the track may not necessarily be your taste in music, however I would be very interested in getting answers to the following couple of questions:- - If you hadn’t been told that Solaria was an AI vocalist on this song would you have been able to tell? - Does your perception of the song change at all because you know the vocalist is not real? #AI #AIvocals #synthesizervpro PS. I also created the album artwork using AI 😊
