The story of our people stretches back over 65,000 years, a story shaped by the leadership, resilience and wisdom of our ancestors. This is a story woven with culture, identity and the continuous passing down of knowledge across generations. Through the power of education, we carry their story forward, continuing to write new chapters while building on the foundation they laid. We continue this legacy by delivering on our core values of: 🖤 Integrity: Maintaining honesty, accountability and ethical leadership in all that we do. 💛 Equality: Creating an environment where people are treated with respect and provided with equal opportunities to thrive. ❤️ Opportunity: Ensuring that each individual in our programs has access to pathways that support their growth, success, and development. 💪🏽 Strength in Culture: Celebrating the richness of First Nations cultures and embedding them as central pillars in our leadership and programs. These values guide everything we do at GO. We hold ourselves to the highest standards, creating impactful programs that not only empower our students, but also their families and our wider Indigenous communities. As our story evolves, we’re proud to walk alongside the generation of Indigenous leaders and witness their achievements! #GOFoundation #IndigenousEducation #BlakExcellence #EducationAustralia

Being back in my birthplace of Darwin and exploring the stunning beauty of the Northern Territory with my wife and nearly 11-year-old daughter Meira has been a deeply grounding experience. This unique part of the world, with its rich natural landscapes and vibrant cultural heritage, reminds me how crucial it is to inspire a love of the natural world and foster an appreciation for diverse cultures in future generations. These experiences are not just about wonder; they are the foundation of change. They teach us to think differently, embrace interconnectedness, and find solutions to global challenges. This ethos drives initiatives like School in a Box, which empowers young people worldwide to learn about their environments, their cultures, and themselves. By equipping schools with the tools and resources to provide quality education, we aim to spark the curiosity and skills needed to cultivate the leaders of tomorrow. As part of this vision, I’ve reached out to the Government of Darwin to explore how we can support disadvantaged communities here in the Northern Territory. With Waste to Wonder Worldwide expanding into the APAC region, I’m excited about the potential to make a lasting impact locally while continuing to drive global change. Darwin’s beauty and diversity are a testament to the power of perspective—one that I hope every child we reach can explore in their way, wherever they are in the world. Generational change starts with education, connection, and the inspiration to lead. #GenerationalChange #EducationForAll #Sustainability #Darwin #NorthernTerritory #APACExpansion

At the Global Leadership Council, Ahmed Hussen, Minister of International Development Government of Canada, spoke about the crucial role of securing meaningful livelihoods for young people, who are facing disproportionate challenges in transitioning to work. “Youth education, training and employment are critical priorities for Canada. There’s no question in my mind that the next generation is brimming with creativity, talent and motivation to succeed. The Intersection of Education and Public Policy: Shaping Future Leaders I have been contemplating the significant impact of successful public policy on educational results in Africa and beyond. In this swiftly changing world, it is imperative that our educational systems adjust to emerging technologies and equip students for the intricacies of the global economy. Policies that emphasize fair access to quality education can empower future leaders and promote sustainable development in our nation. There are key areas we have to consider 1. Equity in Education: How can we guarantee that every child, irrespective of their origin, has access to the necessary resources for success, particularly in rural areas where access to basic social amenities are limited? 2. Policy Innovation: What novel policies can the leaders adopt to assist educators and improve student involvement, especially considering post-COVID-19 challenges? 3. Community Engagement: The significance of including parents, communities, and local leaders in the development of sustainable educational policies that align with our cultural values and requirements. I assert that cooperation among legislators, educators, and business leaders is essential as we address these difficulties. Utilizing varied perspectives enables us to design strategies that enhance our educational institutions and bolster our economy. What is your perspective on the future evolution of the interaction between education and policy? #Education #PublicPolicy #Ghana #Leadership #SustainableDevelopment

In today's rapidly evolving world, the interconnectedness of education, innovation, leadership, hard work and empowerment forms the bedrock of sustainable progress of our Nation. Education lays the groundwork offering citizens the tools and knowledge needed to understand, adapt and thrive in an ever-changing landscape. From this foundation springs innovation driven by the creativity and ingenuity cultivated through education. However, it is effective leadership that guides these innovative efforts providing direction and inspiration to turn ideas into impactful solutions. Yet, without the dedication and perseverance of hard work, even the most visionary leadership and innovative ideas can falter. Through diligent effort and unwavering commitment, citizens transform aspirations into tangible achievements. And ultimately, it is empowerment that emerges from this cycle, as citizens equipped with education, driven by innovation, guided by leadership and fueled by hard work seize control of their destinies, effect positive change and propel societies toward greater prosperity and well-being leading to a stronger foundation for a prosperous nation.

Congratulations to #chadwickinternational Jaeyul Kim, #serviceleader Grade 7 student! Jaeyul recently had the incredible opportunity to present his service project directly to Dr. Huh, Associate Head for External Affairs. Jaeyul's project tackles a crucial aspect of UN SDG #9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. His specific focus is Target 9.5, which aims to significantly increase research and development in developing countries. Jaeyul's innovative proposal advocates for funding to support research projects undertaken by 3 middle school students. These projects will delve into service-related topics that connect to either a UN Sustainable Development Goal or a school-related issue. Empowering students at a young age to explore their passions, identify problems, and develop solutions is key to fostering the next generation of changemakers. We're incredibly proud of Jaeyul's initiative and drive to make a positive difference. Keep shining, Jaeyul! Continuous learning is indispensable for thought leaders as it enables them to stay relevant, innovative, and influential in their respective fields. Thought leaders must keep pace with evolving trends, technologies, and ideas, constantly expanding their knowledge base and skill set. By embracing lifelong learning, they remain ahead of the curve, positioning themselves as authorities in their domains. Continuous learning fosters adaptability, empowering thought leaders to navigate complexity and uncertainty with agility. It also stimulates creativity and critical thinking, enabling them to generate fresh insights and perspectives. Rosa Parks demonstrated continuous learning as a thought leader through her lifelong commitment to civil rights activism and education. Despite facing discrimination and adversity, Parks pursued opportunities for personal growth and empowerment. She participated in workshops, lectures, and community organizing efforts, deepening her understanding of systemic racism and strategies for change. Parks remained open to new ideas and perspectives, collaborating with fellow activists and leaders to advance the cause of racial equality. Through her relentless pursuit of knowledge and advocacy, Parks not only challenged societal norms but also inspired generations to continue the fight for justice and equality.
