📝 Gameweek 5 Recap: Small Red Arrow, but Big Changes Ahead! ⚽
My The Premier League League FPL team scored 60 points in Gameweek 5, leading to a small red arrow as I dropped from 1,965,092 to 2,159,352. Not the best week, but there were some key performances:
Trent Alexander-Arnold bagged 11 points with a clean sheet and an assist.
Konsa got on the scoresheet with 9 points.
Salah, as my captain, gave me 12 points with an assist.
Welbeck and Watkins each scored and brought in 6 points.
Although it wasn’t a huge score, I’ve decided to shake things up. I’ve activated my wildcard for Gameweek 6, and I’ll finally be getting Haaland into the team. Stay tuned for my next post where I’ll reveal my wildcard team! 🔥

This situation exemplifies the increasing disregard for women’s rights and safety, as biological males continue to encroach on female-only spaces in sports. Allowing men to compete against women (XX) not only disregards the physical advantages males possess but also poses significant dangers and disadvantages to women on multiple levels.
Firstly, male participants inherently have physical advantages such as greater muscle mass, bone density, and cardiovascular capacity. These differences, even when testosterone levels are reduced, do not erase the biological advantages that result from male puberty. This creates an unfair playing field, stripping women of opportunities to compete fairly and succeed in their own sports categories.
The Flying Bats FC’s win, with at least five confirmed male participants, is not a victory for inclusivity—it’s a blatant denial of women’s rights to fair competition. The Saints, an all-female team, were robbed of their chance to progress in a prestigious tournament that was meant to honor female athleticism. This undermines the purpose of women’s sports, which were established precisely to provide female athletes a space where they can compete on equal footing.
Beyond the realm of fairness, there are real safety concerns. The physical differences between males and females mean that female players face a heightened risk of injury when competing against stronger, faster male opponents. This danger cannot be ignored, and by allowing such practices, authorities are prioritizing the desires of self identifying men over the safety and well-being of women and girls.
It’s time that governing bodies wake up to this injustice. Women (XX) deserve their own spaces to compete, excel, and feel safe. Allowing male participation undermines years of hard-fought progress for female athletes and sends a clear message that women’s rights are secondary to ideological agendas. This lunacy must end if we are to truly respect and protect women’s sports.

"The Flying Bats FC, which has at least five confirmed male participants, emerged victorious yesterday during Round 2 of the Premier League Football New South Wales (FNSW) Champion of Champions knockout competition. The Saints, an all-female team, has now lost the opportunity to compete in the finals, leaving the Bats one step closer to winning the women’s title. According to the FNSW website, the Champion of Champions tournament is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the footballing calendar, with champions from each association pitted against each other in a “battle for supremacy.”"
