Thanks for Dr. AL Mohannad Abdelrahim for sharing the article on public health in conflict zones and highlighting its key findings! This area of study is crucial, especially considering the devastating impact conflicts have on healthcare infrastructure. On a related note, our recent article https://lnkd.in/dzi5imNg published in ecancermedicalscience explores the #Sudaneseconflict's crippling effect on cancer patients. Essential services like diagnosis, surgery & treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, & palliative care) have been disrupted or halted entirely. This critical issue has far-reaching consequences for countless Sudanese battling cancer.

When it comes to climate-smart health, there’s no time to wait and debate. Too many of those most at risk from climate change-driven disasters that have negative impacts on health live in low- and middle-income countries. Together with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London, Mott MacDonald, the UK Health Security Agency and Wolfe Global , FHI 360 has developed a policy brief that outlines key steps that communities, policymakers, health professionals, and researchers and academics must take to address pressing health inequities around #ClimateChange-driven disasters. bit.ly/3U9kk2S #WorldEnvironmentDay
