On June 28, 2024, Horizon Part 1 hit theaters with plans for an early streaming release in September. The pandemic drove a shift in theater-watching habits, moving us from movie theaters to the comfort of our own homes With hybrid film releases, movies are being released in cinemas and on over-the-top (OTT) platforms, where viewers are allowed to view from anywhere, anytime, frequently for a low cost, and with rapid access. It allows distributors to have live-in streaming data and reach the global audience, but at the same time it brings new challenges like lower box office revenues and increased pirate threats. As we advance to the future, it's evident that preserving the magic of movies while adapting to modern viewing preferences requires striking the correct balance between live theaters and streaming. What's your take, where do you see the future of movies heading? #Entertainment #OTT #MovieIndustry #Streaming
