Agriculture needs a new playbook. 🤔 In a recent Forbes story I wrote with Kirsten Dunlop from Climate-KIC, we highlight how new long-term, place-based partnerships between farmers, businesses, environmental organizations, local governments, communities and indigenous peoples are the solution to various challenges threatening our food system. Our world is in trouble from: 🐨 Biodiversity loss 🚜 Climate change impacts on field production 📊 Volatile markets 😓 Chronic hunger In the story, we call for the agriculture industry to adopt ILM, not only because of its positive impact on the land but also because of its economic potential.
